Nearly all first team regulars, so not really comparable to some of the horror show sides we've put out the last few seasons.

Drawing attention to yourself? I mean, if you don't want to do that better not pick a career where you're on show in front of tens of thousands of people every week. What is all this with policing people's hairstyles? Kolli is wearing his natural hair, it just happens to be longer than current fashions. So what? He hasn't dyed it in blue and white hoops and tattooed his neck with "World's Number 1 Striker". I don't remember people saying Bircham had to back it up when he had blue and white hair.
Also, the absolute nonsense of people who grew up in the 70s and 80s criticising people for the length of their hair. Duh! |

There's currently a need to fashion blame for everything that doesn't go perfectly so that people have a scapegoat.
There seems to be comfort in having someone to blame because it implies that if you replace that person everything will be wonderful (the same is happening in politics).
That's not to say that sometimes blame can't be justifiably apportioned, but much of the time shit just happens, especially in football where margins are fine and one piece of skill can turn a game. Do we hold Joe Allen responsible for letting Taarabt score that famous goal against Swansea, or do we recognise a flash of brilliance? [Post edited 14 Jan 16:03]
