As I am the only rangers fan in Merseyside (hope I am not the only one) just a pointer on pubs in Liverpool.
Local to lime street, head of steam is within the station complex and ok, the crown pub is to the side of the station and good selection of beers.
For those wanting to sink a few pints after the game main areas are the rope walks/concert square area. Rope walks area has some crackin laid back bars (no trouble) like Alma da Cuba (superb bar with brazilian dancer late on), Peacock bar, Mojo (found this recently, superb bar sarts to liven up after 11:30, free bar and music like the jam, doors, clash, who etc), Aloha cocktail bar (great selection great for a laugh), Shipping Forecast on Slater Street (cracking bar). Number of bars in this area, decent and where I go for a drink in Liverpool
Concert square bit like Kavos, large number of bars.
Then there is Matthew street, again like Kavos.
Victoria Street, includes living room and ok for bars away from Matthew Street.
Liverpool One, new area for shops includes restaurants, bars including bierkeller.
Finally Albert Dock area, small number of decent bars.

Liverpool dominated by bars open until the early hours, there are number of clubs but due to my age of 43 not upto date with the club scene.
Krazy House close to concert square, 3 floors for indie/goth/ metal, been couple of times and enjoyed it, clubs local to matthew street including cavern club.
If after clubs look online for suggestions or chat a few local girls up in town they will sort you out.

I'm up here at Uni. Few good places to go, depends what you fancy. KrazyHouse is alright for a cheap sloshy night out, big and a range of music.
Alma da Cuba is quality but you will need shoes on, bouncers are a bit touchy, big groups of blokes likely to get turned away. Bumper is good, and the Revolutions aint bad here either.
The city is so small you can basically walk around the whole town anyway and see what you fancy. |  | | |

My name is Phil, we need to set up a Merseyside/Cheshire supporters club, going the game with my 12 year old son (follows qpr) and brother & cousin both everton fans, I am in the QPR end today of course and would love same score as last season as that was one of my best QPR moments for personal reasons.
Do the QPR fans in this area get to many games? I have struggled this season and only been to Man U Stoke and now Everton, will get to more games next season at the likes of B'pool, B'burn, Bolton etc. | | | |

I'm based up by Maghull now. Should defo sort a north west supporters group for travelling to games etc. have only manged 5 games so far this season. | | | |

Born in Chalfont St Giles, but from 65-79 was in high Wycombe, and from 6 months on never missed a home game until 1980.
Never paid to get in in that time either ;-)
Don't go that often now as its too damn expensive.
Last time I went to LR, my dads appendix went bad on him as we walked to the entrance and I had to take him home. That's 12 years ago now and my dads now infirm and cant go himself, although I got him up last season for him, my son and I for the Everton match.
Now I'm in Fazakerley for my sins.
