Can someone please get a line to Adel and tell him to please keep his chin up, I have always loved the guy for what he does and how he plays and now that he has decided that he wants to pull QPR out of this situation on his own if possible, I have a whole new level of love for the guy. Since that emotional interview he has been superb and showed the kind of love and commitment to the cause sadly lacking.

I think he's maturing fast. He was below us tackling back when no one else was in the last 10 minutes and getting very frustrated with his team mates for not putting the shift in. He also, with Mackie and Nelson was one of only 3 players geeing the team up when they came back on after half time. He was losing his cool in the last 10 minutes and old Adel would have got a booking or worse. A group of us could see him getting upset and we kept shouting 'keep calm Adel, we need you calm for the others.' Not sure if he heard it but he didn't lose it like he used to. He just kept going. Very much a matured player. Will be gutted if we has blown the chance to build a team around him. Warnock did the season we went up and it worked. Ever since we have taken the captaincy off him and he's been in and out of favour. But if you have any brains you build a team around this guy and eventually the rest would take care of itself. |  |

Too good for Hughes and not used effectively under him. Still our best player when up for it despite the money spent. I can't see him staying after January and his value coming from a relegation team will mean we'll get next to nothing for him after Spurs take their cut. |  |

Adel was one of the last to leave Saturday. Had waited with my lad so he could get autographs - he didn't want Hoillets or Traores but got his photo taken with Mackie for about the fourteenth time. When Adel finally surfaced and my lad congratulated him for playing well, he seemed genuinely chuffed on being complimented.
