I have been wondering how important have these latest set of results been to convincing a "good" player to come to us. If we were being beaten up by the Scum, Spuds or City, that would not be very good on the CV when we approach these players. So, surely these latest results have to have been great window-dressing to entice some of the good players here. |  | | |

I know wiki is not guiding light but together with various Mediaset reports he is posted as our player. Maybe they have jumped the gun on him actually accepting our bid but I think Arry has known he will come which is why he released Ferdinand.
If we can get Samba as well (Where was Tony flying to last night,Russia??) it would be a fantastic signing as a Nelsen replacement and our back line will look the part so hopefully they play the part.
