I know message boards are good for a bit of moan but the majority of stuff seems to be negative and anti player, harry etc etc.. Not sure what more they can have done aside from knick a winner at Hudders
We have not played a decent team yet though have we? I don't think this is negative or whinging - just trying to stay realistic.
I think a lot of our fans seem to have very short memories about a variety of things - Barton, Adel, Arry's record at other clubs to name but a few. The fact we got humiliated last season doesn't change because we beat Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday.
A lot of work ahead.

Yeah, time to get over the last two seasons; time to get on with enjoying the Championship.
We've got good owners, we're not going out of business any time soon; we've had a good start to the season; it seems as if the squad is happy and together.
We've got no God-given right to get promoted, no reason to expect that we'll even get that close given what this division is like and how many good teams there are in it; we might even get tonked a few times.......... I wouldn't be surprised; so what? I don't think we're going to get relegated and the club is moving in the right direction.
Settle in for the ride, ladies and gentlemen, I for one intend to enjoy the football, get to a few games if I can and try to forget the sh*t time we had when we were "where we belong" *cough*.

Let 'The Powers That Be' figure out what to do next year. Give him a year's contract with possibility of an extension and lets enjoy a competent team ffs.

2 seasons of absolute misery, most recently overseeing just 4 wins over an entire season while the soul of the club is systematically ripped out and mercenary players come to shit all over the team that we love causing issues that will be felt for a long time to come.
Probably why some people think a few half decent results after just 4 games is only starting to repair some of the damage inflicted.
For a long time transfers are probably going to be met with trepidation, positive results taken with a pinch of salt and expectations generally leaning towards pessimism for self presevation. In time, if things continue, I am sure this will change, but it is 4 games in, so lets not all start wnking each other off just yet.

So in short, so far so good, but let's not kid ourselves that our Manager and Owners are doing anything other than looking at the short term still. On the plus side, at least they are getting the short term right for a change!

OK it does seem a bit contrary...
Basically saying i'm enjoying this season and happy to be along for the ride (whatever happens - champions, playoffs, midtable, relegation scrap) but not blind to a few issues bubbling under which could be problematic down the line.

let's take a trip down memory lane to 1996. Newly relegated QPR won the 1st two games, drew the 3rd and lost the 4th to .... ...Bolton. After that Wilkins left to be replaced by Houston and QPR slumped down close to the relegation places after going about 8-10 games without a win.
Of course it doesn't mean the same will happen this time, but I am not going to get carried away after 3 games against mighty Sheff Weds, Huddersfield and Ipswich. Most of us I think, can see that the squad lacks quality in depth and certainly in central defence and strikers.
I'll await to see how they do against Bolton, Watford, Leeds, Reading Wigan, Blackburn etc (I already know they will get 0 points at Forest on Bxing day)!
