Hoegarden White Beers. 21:41 - Dec 30 with 958 views | Brightonhoop | Sat here enjoying a cheeky one, proper yeasty. What's your favourite beer lately? Found a Fullers pub here in Spain, very recently opened, London Pride travels very well, 1500 miles from home, goes down a treat in this climate.

Was once served a 5 litre stein of brown bier in Munich, lovely, only rule was I had to drink it one handed, it was made of stone and bloody heavy.

Hoegarden White Beers. on 22:17 - Dec 30 with 916 views | Toast_R | Tried to like those cloudy lagers but for me the after taste just gets me every time. Always Heineken for me. Since they upped the vol in the UK to 5% premium quality about 10 years ago or so, it's the one for me. Did the Brewery Tour in Amsterdam back in October. Was a really cool activity to do. Even teach you the science behind brewing and the art to drinking it properly.
Hoegarden White Beers. on 22:26 - Dec 30 with 900 views | AgedR | If the Pride is bottled, I'd be trying to see if they have any ESB (or num num as I've always known it). Deliciously malty, but, no longer a session pint for my constitution sadly. One or three still go down a treat though. Back in the day when Youngs made Youngs, I used to love a pint of mix (half Special, half Ordinary). Not quite the same since Charlie Wells took over in my opinion.

Loopy juice=1 man pitch invasion! :-D Partial to the odd guiness too. Loving the Fullers again after all these years.

Hoegarden White Beers. on 09:46 - Dec 31 with 770 views | simmo | Hoegarden is lethal, had 2 of those white beers recently and felt well on the way, they are about 8% arent they? I unfortunately don't enjoy the taste of 'real beer' so stick to lager. Same as above with Heineken ideally but if I am in the offy I usually grab cans of Tyskie. Polish and just over 5.5%, it does the job and is just the right balance of smooth and beery. If I really fancy losing touch with reality I will buy 8 cans of Zywiec. Funky aftertaste but makes living in Poland bearable so you know it works.

A friend of mine ordered a pint of Duvel on draught in a bar in Canary Wharf - They refused and said they would only serve him a half at a time! He is 61 !!!
