Magnificent

Poll: Who do we want out of the way?

Joe is clearly a knob jockey but he didn't deserve to be on the losing team at the Nou Camp. Even fellow tool Luis Suarez applauded him at one stage.

A keeping masterclass.

Poll: Where will we finish up next season?

I think he's always been a good shot stopper and was brilliant last night but other flaws in his game never seem to have improved.

Still the best Keeper England have by a country mile.

Hart was brilliant but the second best player on the pitch.

Make the most out of Messi as we're unlikely to see a better player for a long time.

I disagree. Thought Hart was hands-down MOTM

Hart was excellent but Messi took the game by the scruff of the neck in the first half to end the tie. I can't think of many (any) players capable of dominating a supposed top team like Messi did last night.

No surprise that Barcelona took their foot off the gas in the second half and played keep ball as they had one eye on the Clasico this Sunday.

I was rather hoping the Flea would get himself injured - think they could tear Real apart on Sun

Hope that's a joke?!

Messi should transcend rivalries. We're watching greatness. To want him injured is sacrilege.

It's the equivalent of having Kate Upton on your bed begging for it and instead going off to shuffle one out over cheesily scripted porn.

Really? I was under the impression that you were asking me which of the two Spanish teams that, neither of which I support that i arbitrarily prefer. as analogies go, yours is pretty piss poor.

I don't care for Barcelona particularly. Their pious holier than though demeanor when they lose as if evil has triumphed against good. their 'More than a club' rhetoric when the club is anything but, grates on me.

But you know what, i'm not that bothered, because i don't support either. But if you're asking me to choose, i prefer Real.

Can we not knock it?

On a par with Jurgen Sommer v Villa in the mid 90's

it was good, but there was a lot of poor finishing.

Bare bones.
