Incredible figures but it doesn't surprise me. Two seasons ago we used something like 70+ players in the Under 23s alone. Leon Best even got a game !! A groundsman at the Academy Centre told me recently we've had over 100 triallists in the past 14 months at every level of the academy including the u23s.!! | | | |

3 games and took a 75% pay cut to play for us (50k p.w. then? ;-) ) I saw all 3 games and he was right up there with Gus Caesar and Steve Morrow as an asset to the side. I would rather have had Borrowdale or Bosingwa than that spunktrumpet. | |
