2nd Half Performance

Park was superb 2nd half

Granero is quality

Ale Faurlin is back

Nelson is a leader and we need him at the back MOTM

Zamora looks interested and is playing well

Boswinga did really well

We had good movement 2nd half

Cesar will make a difference

Dyer looked sharp if he can stay fit

Reasons To Be Concerned

All over the place 1st half

Fabio is a liability

Anton Ferdinand

The fact that yet again we lost a crucial goal due to an injured player staying on the pitch when they should have been hooked 5 minutes earlier

Shaun Wright Phillips starting (should not have even made the bench) and continuing where he left of last season

Johnson ahead of Cisse? Don't get it myself

4-4-2 its the wrong formation for us and we were much better in the last 20 minutes when Zamora dropped deeper

Adel not making the bench

Thought Fabio was excellent.

Great block first half.

Ferdinand was ok, certainly benifiied having Nelson there.

Yep great block, although he was caught out of position and had to get across to make the block, but he did have a decent game.

Have to agree i thought Fabio played very well. That said we still look very open down that side. The side needs to gel and gain confidence, we seem to play with fear against alot of big teams instead of really giving it a go. ferdinand hold his shoulder and looking uncomfortable is a joke, if u are injured get off. he should of closed down for dzekos goal. all in all i expected a defeat and was encouraged but the passing even if we created very little upfront.

Ferdinand was at fault for both goals though the 2nd one was due to his immobility due to be ing injured.

Fabio gets out of position far to easily and gives the ball away far to often when attacking

I thought Fabio had a really odd game, superb at times dreadful at others. SWP, how many times did he give the ball away...and in ahead of Taarabt and Hoilett??

Think most people will think Fabio played well today. All about opinions.

Anyone know why Traore didn't make the bench? Injured?

Never knowingly right.

I was not at the game, but it sounds like there was a lot of good to take from it. And with mbia in for Ferdinand. I think the defence will be stronger. And sounds like nelson is the other cb.

2nd half our midfield ran the show. Park/Faurlin/Granero were superb.

Fabio had his best game so far , then near the end he lost the ball twice and was found out of position both times but ~MH kept faith in him .Nelsen was immense and Bosingwa showed some lovely touches , especially going forward. SWP had a great game but when he can dliver a cross to one of our forwrds he'll be a match winner.

I do believe we have nothing to fear.

Anyone know if Mbia + Onohua can play together? Is Mbia a leader? Otherwise we'd need a Nelsen/Hill

I thought Ferdinand had a good game. Couldn't tell if he swit he'd off or just got out classed a couple of times but dzeko did the same to Nelson on occasions. On that showing Id like to see them play together more with Nedum pushing for a place and Mbia in the deep MF destroyer role.
