And all of them would probably give Gomis a run for his money upfront.

Angelique is, I think, a traditional French or Belgian name rather than some chav abomination...😉

World Music star Angelique Kidjo for instance...

Two utter states on a package holiday in the late 1990s had named their boy and girl CeeKay and Diesel.

You're not wrong there, I ended up taking one for a tube ride from Camden to Goodge Street...

Was going to take him for a pint but he started doing the Ayatollah so I stamped on him..

"For me, friendly means nosey...."

Do what I do - just walk around the house naked with the curtains open...that'll put an end to that nonsense...

Instead of a chimnea try an upside down burning cross and hanging chunks of raw meat on the clothes line in the back garden of an evening and blasting out a Gregorian Chant CD.

This also tends to discourage unwelcome visitors(*) once word gets about...

(*)The odd bird of prey and crow are preferable to that nosy bint from number 46...

Isn't he the bloke who invented the trouser press?

If he wins it will certainly be a turn-up for the books...

Understandably so. He's probably banged a lot more of them than you have...

First record bought
at 09:42 23 Jul 2015

Who's to say I didn't?

Was goosestepping around the lounge one evening in my sister's red platform boots when one of them flew off and cracked my Nan's shin...

Chased round the house with a wooden spoon, straight to bed, no tea and a new box of crayola taken away...

Wouldn't have been so bad but I was 22 at the time ....

Happy days...!

First record bought

Used to borrow my sister's records until I was 10 - she had some good stuff, Bowie, T-Rex, Slade and a load of 70's Soul, RnB and Disco...

First 7" I bought was Going Underground - The Jam but I blotted my copybook with my first LP which was something called "Raiders of the Pop Charts" - two LPs with some dick dressed like Indiana Jones on the front cover....there was some good stuff on there but a lot of dodgy stuff it has to be said...

Zoom by Fat Larrys Band always reminds me of the Toshack era more than any other song for some strange reason...

Westminster Figures In Child Abuse Papers
at 08:17 23 Jul 2015

Like you say Jackfath, no real suprise. The older I get the angrier I become as it becomes increasingly apparent that this country and it's Establishment Junta are rotten to their criminal core. The mishandling of the Inquiry was no coincidence in my opinion, not only to allow scum like this pig to take the Roman way out but to buy time to bury bigger fish.

I'm confident there's plenty more names that will come out in the fullness of time as the groundswell of public interest in this is too large now, thankfully, but whether anyone still alive will face prosecution or even questioning remains to be seen.

Disgusting business...

When I was a kid everyone wanted to be either a footballer or an astronaut so while I'd agree that space exploration is necessary (especially regarding Mars which should have been the next logical step after Apollo/Gemini/Viking missions) and has speeded up scientific advancements I think in this particular case that the money could have been better spent elsewhere on terra firma rather than spending billions of dollars to photograph a giant ice cube on the edge of our solar system...

Wow....

I think you must have a window into my mind Perch as I was thinking the same this morning and was going to post about how I spent 20 Billion designing a miniture probe to travel from my lounge, through the kitchen keyhole into the garage and then into the freezer to take some pictures of the ice cube tray and beam a pic and a text message back to my HTC to tell me that my freezer is full of feckin ice !

While billions of humans don't have access to clean drinking water etc...

...and don't get me started on Trident!

I'm not a huge fan of theirs but I find it hard to disagree with this statement...(Patti Smith notwithstanding)
