Nah, that wasn't me. There are actually quite a few Rangers fans in the Lewes, Brighton area. You can tell them by the haunted expression in their eyes. |

Go on, I'll weigh in as well. Long term Rangers fan, for my sins. Grew up watching them in the early 80s, with happy memories of Gary Waddock running the midfield and Clive Allen and Simon Stainrod knocking them in for fun. Slightly less happy memories of going to Wembley to see us poleaxed by Oxford. Lost interest a bit in my late teens / twenties - weirdly when we were quite good - but it came back, like some kind of horrible fungal infection. I don't get to Loftus Road that much, partially due to other obligations, partly the because every time I go we get battered, which starts to set off latent OCD tendencies (went three times last year, aggregate score 0-10, not to us, obviously). This is a great forum, I've been lurking for a few years now, and Clive's writing is streets above the quality of the football he's writing about. It's a hard path being a QPR supporter... |
