Chelsea fined £10.75m
at 16:35 16 Mar 2026

Another day, another embarrassing story about that wretched club.
They’ve been financially doping for decades and bought all their success.
A meaningless punishment for them although they’ll be slightly annoyed they can’t hoover up (steal) the world’s best young talent for their puppy loan farm for a ridiculously short 9 months.

The scum huddle around the ref?

Just the latest embarrassment on top of a really long list of utter embarrassments from that club.
Owners haven’t got a clue and just throw money at it, head coach is an idiot, Cucurella is an utter bellend and of course John feckin Terry.

It’s players like those two who have a huge responsibility for Leicester’s malaise: bang average Premier League players no doubt on ridiculous wages and contracts who are phoning it in as the Championship is beneath them as they wait in vain for a ā€˜top’ club to sign them which will never happen as they are sh1t.

There’s a difference between signing players like Vale with a one off injury and signing players like JCS with a history of injuries.
Vale is only 22: he’s inconsistent but has shown plenty of potential. His goal yesterday was excellent.

Don’t think he’s been picked much this season: they’ve just sacked their manager and he’s been brought back in. Still quality at that level and think he’d be an excellent coach or manager in the future if he wanted to do it.

Don’t like to be pedantic but Crewe are 12 points off the promotion positions in League Two and are very unlikely to go up to League One so Leicester won’t be playing them next season if they get relegated šŸ˜‡

Gaffer on today's WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at 22:59 14 Mar 2026

I think he’s learning from his mistakes.
He quite rightly took Saito and Varane off at HT in the last game and followed that up by dropping them for this game, trusting the likes of Kolli and Morgan to step up.
Really pleased it paid off for him and the team.

Delighted for him: hopefully the pile on from a vocal minority to sack him will disappear for a week.

Well he had a much better game than Leicester’s keeper.

Agreed: the stats don’t lie.
Any other poster who breaks the spell and starts a Portsmouth match thread should be immediately banned and made to parade around the pitch in the long forgotten Sparks the Tiger costume whilst we all point and boo.

Great result Rangers: well done StƩphan and the team.
Some great character shown after the run they’ve been on.

I agree: it could be the equivalent of starting Poku tomorrow instead of saving him for home to Portsmouth…..

Everything crossed that you haven’t come back too early Spaceman šŸ™

The likes of you and him think your gatekeeping really makes you ā€˜proper supporters’ compared to us Normies. Your ā€˜pronouncements’ always increase during a bad run on the pitch. Most of us can think for ourselves and form our own opinions thanks šŸ‘

Yes he’s probably not Championship standard yet: should be ok for fourth choice centre back on the bench though.
Not sure any of us are experts on South African football and would suggest you are belittling the fact he was called up for their national team for a major tournament.

Whereas you are fully informed on everything? And double down on what exactly? The injuries and lack of fitness?

You always reappear during the lowest moments: certainly not a regular poster after a few decent wins.

All those seem to be a big over reaction to what will be another mid table season.
Fair enough if we were marooned at the bottom of the table but we’re not.

The injury and fitness situations need to be properly addressed at the end of the season and the fanbase need to be kept fully informed on what actions are being taken to prevent a third decimated season in a row. That would be a great start to keeping the supporters onside.

Well he’s been called into the full South Africa squad and is rated as one of their best young players.
And he’s 20 years old with 10 minutes experience out of position for us: I’d probably be prepared to give him a chance before writing him off eh?

There’s loads of his QPR posts still on his X page.

Think he’s been told he’s not getting another contract and we will be playing the other lads which is fair enough in as much it gives him plenty of time to get another club for next season but I will be sorry to see him go as he’s been one of our best signings in recent years.

As stated it’s pointless him being on the bench if he’s not going to play as we have JCS and Smith there already.

The logical reason not to play him is we now have four fit centre backs: Dunne starts as he’s captain, we’ve spent a lot of money on Edwards, JCS now fit (at the moment).
Personally I’d play Dunne and Cook to stop as many goals flying in but others would put a case for Edwards and JCS: centre back is the main position we actually have options in.
