Poku yet again with most likely a hamstring injury. It is clear that he must have a very serious injury problem and you can see why other Championship teams passed on him and we were able to sign him. Looks totally lost to me. Also what is going on with Obikwu signs 3 months ago, no real update on what is wrong with him, have Rangers stitched themselves up again with another Taylor Richards type. I would still sign RND as he was the only one last night who really was trying. For me the jury is still well out on Stephan, it was glaringly obvious to us in the stands that major changes were needed at HT, yet he waits another 20 mins into 2nd half to bring on the quality players like Chair and Madsen who actually made a difference. But then again Swansea looked much more capable than us and deserved their win. Going to be a hard watch on Saturday against a Derby team who still gave a chance of the play offs, managed by Eustace who knows what he is doing. If Rangers don't turn up could be a bit of a drubbing for us. |

Thought Swansea were decent, deserved the win regardless of the penalty. Our management team and players need to start taking things more seriously and stop mugging us off. Total lack of any quality from us and poor show all round, except RND and Walsh who made some decent stops to keep us in the game. |

Invited back by a certain Son of Northolt(known him since School days) to the 2014 play off final, he had been badgering me for a few years to return and he got me a ticket for the final and I was hooked again, and by the following season I got a season ticket and had one ever since. Probably to be honest love going to Rangers more these days then when I went in the 70s and 80s, even though today I have further to travel then a few stops down the Central line back in my youth. |

I was there, in my early twenties with a season ticket in the loft. Rangers never turned up at Wembley and to be honest fxxked me right off and at the end of that season didn't go back for another 28 years. |

Control his brainfarts and bit more coaching and he will make the RB role his. Got passion and pace, just needs to control the passion and use it positively rather than taking on lost causes and getting himself sent off i.e. Wrexham. Need fighters in the team that show passion, he gets stuck in, just needs to have a cool head, also pace going forward, proved dangerous goals against Leicester and Norwich and disallowed goal against Watford. |

To be honest I have been impressed with Millwall's progression over the last few seasons, and they deserve to have a shot at the Prem. We really did look all over the place in the first half, but as pointed out unless you really go at a team like Millwall in the first 20 mins or so, you are likely to come off worse. |

Great footballer, deserves all the success he is now getting at Bayern Munich. Personally think he is the best English striker we have had, superb all round game. |

To be honest not much bothered by this performance, Millwall are a better team pushing for promotion, we are still lightweight and have done enough this season. We know the weaknesses, whether they will be addressed that is the question. Been impressed with Millwall for a few seasons now, they are passing us and we need to look closely as to why. First question they have an experienced manager at this level and they are backing him. Millwall may not go up, but they will be mighty close. [Post edited 18 Apr 18:32]

Yep it's all about seeing the wood from the trees. I support QPR the football team, Loftus Road stadium is the vehicle they use to play football. I agree it is totally important that based on our history and formation etc, that we maintain a stadium link to the area where the club developed and the West London area. Now if that means a move for progress purposes to the Car Giant Old Oak Common site than that is fine, but I suppose ripping up our roots sort of MK Dons style and moving out of the area is not what anybody would want. I feel the club needs a spark to re-ignite itself both on and off the pitch an announcement like a move to the CG site would be enormous. Look at the new training ground went around in circles for years then the Heston site was available and we now have a state of the art facility in quite a short space of time. QPR owners be bold and take us with you? |

Excellent post, just as how I see it, chance to shape the future of the club. I just feel the constraints of the footprint of Loftus Road will lead us into a state of inertia, the football world and access to leisure has changed, and whether we like it or not QPR has to change as well. |

I have not read all the threads , so may have missed, but if Loftus Road was ever re-developed what about getting planning permission and objections from the local residents about any expansion and building disruption that will take place. I suppose the benefits of the Car Giant site is it will not have the development restrictions attached to it. I remember when the stadium was re-developed in the late 70s/early 1980s and in those days local objections were not what they would be today as the housing market and ownership was a very different ball game to how people view property nearly 50 years later. I am caught in two minds, love the experience of Loftus Road but see the benefits of starting afresh in a new purpose made location, where the club can be at the heart of the design and a key player in the development of the location, whereas at LR the constraints may just be a bit too big and the project has too much compromise to progress. |

It's all a giant Ponzi scheme being acted in out in plain sight, but the fact is us football fans just love the sport/our clubs and try and convince ourselves it will all come good. Best not to follow the money. |

Kone superb game today, held ball up well. Great set up for Bennie to win it, but bless him he just at the moment cannot finish, similar to Watford where he failed to convert to make it 3-0. Thought RND was good today, really wish we sign him in the Summer, been our best left back in quite a few seasons. |
 | Forum Thread | Saito - What Has Happened? at 15:19 4 Apr 2026
After the magnificent Paul Smyth was subbed for Saito yesterday, again he looked lost when he came on. He really is struggling in the Championship this season, on current showing the money paid for him looks a poor investment. |

Super performance today seems to have stepped up a level since he signed contract extension. |

Italian top league football seemed to suffer badly from the Bosman ruling in the mid 1990s, where the % of imported players rose greatly compared to young italian talent, also some of the financial scandals a few years later didn't help either. |
