Ball arrival raises old recruitment questions – Signing
Thanks for a great analysis and read written during your “holiday”.
This is a positive signing of most probably a “squad utility defender”. But I share your concerns. I do wonder on the role and impact if Gary Penrice .
The view from the Pu – Season review
Steve, thanks for a good helicopter view analysis of the whole season which is an interesting read.
I agree that in that "glorious week in October where for a brief moment we seemed unbeatable." Infact, it looked pretty good until Christmas when I thought we may even, with a bit of luck, have a chance to even make the play-offs.
Unfortunately, then we then just imploded. But why? I really have not seen a convincing or credible explaination as to why a team that was top "current form league", thus on a great roll just stoped playing! For me it is still and enigma.
Any insights on this would be warmly aprreicated as I am still perplexed, confused and even disturbed! :)
Rangers stalwart Wallace heads for Loftus Road - Signing
I don’t regards this an ad-hoc Warburton signing.
He is an experienced left back, and we released Bidwell, plus he is an the pitch leader. It is probably also a very good value deal. So it ticks the boxes we were looking for and the Warburton network just allowed it to happen.
I hope that we gave a new “Clint Hill” type of character on board who can be a great example to the youngsters on the pitch.
Watford bring curtain down on QPR's cup hopes - Report
Yes, it feels lik we missed a chance.
Thanks for this classc line which made me laugh as it is so apt:
"Whatever it is we’re being punished for just f***ing tell us so we can promise never, ever, ever to do ything remotely like it again because this is really starting to boil my piss now. "

Thanks for an extremely witty, sarcastic and a gripping read.
When will you write a book about supporting the R’s?
Be careful what you wish for? Interview
"In the last six or so years, QPR have had Neil Warnock, Mark Hughes, Harry Redknapp, the wealth of Croesus, Wembley, Relegation, Penury and FFP Threats, Warnock again, Ollie and Schteve McClaren. You have wasted millions going from and to a mid-table Championship position and have had a whirlwind adventure which has bordered at times on the insane."
It is is amazing that the above may be recognised as a "whirlwind adventure".
Thanks for a very good interview.
QPR recovery continues with rare away win - Report
I will ignore the fact that it was a bad decision to give the free kick to Bolton. However, the resulting "low free kick down the side of the wall which Joe Lumley really should have saved but allowed to squirm in for 2-1" was primarily the faulty of "the wall".
Yes, Lumley badly fumbled the shot, but we need coaching on how to make a robust wall.
You don't really need a wall if the ball goes through it. It then only obstructs the goalies view.
Osayi-Samuel shines Bright as QPR make cup progress – Report
"...when Rangers have basically deliberately jacked these games in time and time again – and in all honesty, despite the result, that’s what it looked like McClaren was trying to do here with his team selection."
So we now can't even lose when we want to! :)

The introduction literally made me laugh out loud.
You literally could not make it up as nobody would believe you.
The problem is that it is all true!
Big trouble in little W12 - Report
"Clown School" perfectly sums up the performance.
An accurate, truthful and very witty read which would have had me laughing, had I not been crying.
