It’s a pleasure-it’s luck of the draw as up to the players to turn up. Our match threads are a slight distraction from the stress of the build up with sometimes a quirky theme or humour 😀😀😀 we love our Hoops. (I’m happy to say 3 wins and a draw this season for the ones I started but as said, it’s the colour of the paint on the restaurant walls, it’s not the 7 course meal of how the players turn up in those 90 plus minutes ✌️✌️✌️✌️👍👍) over to somebody else….. How wonderful. Highlights we will be watching for decades to come. The Spike Milligan war memoir and never surrender theme were surprisingly good omens for the 6 points in the last 2 games Victory in Shepherd’s bush day. I think Clive should start the match thread for next weeks game out of honour of him being who he is to us. |

St George’s Day there, ANZAC day here tomorrow in Aus and NZ- so we keep the spirit of no surrender till we safe.
Heart 2 1 to us, head 0-2. A draw will be victorious.

Thank you Danny P. Just got back from the Gabba - went to watch Geelong Cats vs Brisbane Lions (AFL). I chose Geelong Cats as my team when I emigrated here almost ten years ago. Why? Cause their colours the closest to QPR’s 😀😀😀😀.
They won tonight …..good omen…. Night time in Aus |

(My record is won 1, drawn 1. So unbeaten, 😀 but regardless who starts the post, it’s the players who have to get us out the trenches and to D (Delivery) Day) - yes, double brackets in that sentence.
War is bad-and there is too much happening of it in the world. But I thought will use the fighting for survival analogy for what we need to do vs PNE.
My grandad fought in North Africa, my favourite set of books are Spike Milligan’s war memoirs (hence the title of the post), war comics and army sets were part of my childhood growing up in the 70’s, Sir Laurence Olivier's unique narrative voice of the World at War still poignant from when I first heard it when watching with my dad on black and white TV.
I’m not a war fanatic. Much better things in life.
But let’s get stuck in, let’s dig deep-We shall never surrender to any relegation threat! - even if we think Preston are on the beach already. Let’s see a bright light in our 3rd last game. Let us see peace in the world. Get stuck in Hoops.
