It was at Chingford (just off Rangers Road) it has public right of way . Home of Epping Forest Golf Club where up until several years ago it was mandatory for all members to wear a red top at all times . |

In the fourball behind us on Wednesday one of the players had brought his dog along who just trotted the fairways doing his own thing . Got me thinking if you could train the dog to find your ball and whether it would be declared cheating . You would have to soak your balls in something pungent before hand .. |

Begs the question why are Ben Williams and Co deeming him fit to start . The root of all this debate on selection is that players are still recovering from and being protected from last seasons injuries signings excepted) despite having a full summer and pre season to get right Having a deeper squad is just masking their failings IMO |

I get that he has to rotate the squad but 5 changes were too many IMO , No reflection on the players coming in but to change half the team made the game more difficult than it should have been . Making four subs at one time also disrupted us , When Cardiff scored Edwards and Varane had retreated into the back line . We were hanging on at the end .

Our problem would be if Obikwu is selected for the 25 and then goes long term sick again .
We are then just one more injury away from having two fit strikers trying to manage the schedule of games .
The situation with Kolli is farcical IMO |

He had a tough gig coming in because Marti was so popular and it’s taken me a bit of time to warm to him but he really is getting to grips with this league and the players seem happy . Exciting season hopefully . |
