There are three weeks until this game , the original increased amount of 1010 tickets sold in just over 24 hours & they now always hold back 20% for general sale therefore it's always going to general sale.
I would estimate 1600 to 1800 R's fans would travel if they were able to buy a ticket. |

Yes correct i will be amazed if the crowd is over 5k , it currently states on the Cambridge website :
The Newmarket Road End, Main Stand and North Habbin will be open to home supporters for this fixture. Travelling Rangers fans will be situated in the South Habbin.
So not opening the Mead plant & grab South stand where the R's fans were for the friendly 2 years ago to anyone at present .
Yes it's their choice to have a half empty ground but after all the restrictions during the pandemic , all the nonsense statements of how the game is nothing without fans , the clubs would rather turn away an extra 800/1k visitors who would really enjoy a trip to Cambridge . |

Just bought a ticket online , allocation is now increased to 1010 with an extra 95 terrace tickets.
Hoping this will be a paper ticket , the £3.50 booking fee equates to 27% of the ticket price , |

Great crowd yesterday but the stadium has not held that many since they took the seats out of the corner of school end upper ,extended the press box on Ellerlslie side & ponced up the South africa road upper by adding C club . Norwich at home last season was sold out on the thursday before the game , Norwich sold out , no segregation apart from the yokels being in a seperate stand from home fans & the attendance was 17831 so yesterday with a couple of central blocks of the paddock not used the gate was probably 17600 so yes a great turn out but not over 18k . |

905 tickets for the full allocation , strange that though they are using the newish south stand which used to house away fans for home families this season in the league they have not put it on sale to either home or away fans for the cup tie.
looks like another club does not want the money.
I wonder if despite stating full allocation they may open up more tickets as i think we will easily shift 905 . |

Looks like the whole ground apart from upper Loft is pretty much sold out with 3 days still to go until the game .
Watched some of Spurs friendly at Hearts last night & they were very sharp , all the top players played at least 45 minutes .
Son , Johnson , Maddison etc plus Jed Spence formerly of Middlesborough so i reckon by last nights side anyone buying a ticket will see a strong spurs team. |

Cambridge have set ticket prices for this game for home fans now at £16 for seats & £13 for terracing , seems reasonable . |

Yep changed the headline but now have 1 date at the top of the article & a different date in the ticket info text in black below , maybe they want to play us twice  |
