I thought we’d lose that record today.

Glad we haven’t

3rd in the Spanish League, good fixture.

Might as well ask Barca if they fancy a game whilst we’re in that part of the World.

Social credits is a brilliant idea.

You wonder who’s advising this idiot, it’s as if they want to get obliterated at the polls.

As it stands, there’s a huge chasm between spending a year in the armed forces and doing a bit of community work at the weekend and once a month at that. And how easy is it going to be to duck it altogether, can someone be allowed to refuse to do it on something like religious grounds?!

Sunak keeps banging on about grave threats to society, but never states specific threats. Either shut up or spell it out and stop talking in riddles.

End of Term 23/24 – Attack

Long thought Sinclairs best hope was watching and learning from the Traore manual, but I have a feeling Marti would go hoarse trying to get any defensive duties out of him.

Aside of Chair and Andersen, if we’re going to move in the right direction, all of these forwards need to be starting on the bench next season.

Earlier this morning I did catch Ned being introduced as a former Man City player (no mention of us) as Dion Dublin, alongside him, was unable to stifle a chuckle to himself.

So many to choose from, it’s hard to come up with just a top five.

Sam Smith
Manic Street Preachers
Whitney Houston
McFly
And worst of the lot, Green Day, who are basically an American McFly.

What's the best part of your typical day?
at 07:44 25 May 2024

Best part; walking out confidently onto the first tee.

Worst part; walking off at the 18th thinking wtf happened there.

It’s not dissimilar to a visit to Loftus Road.

Far as I’m concerned, there’s only one game left in this season, tomorrow’s play off final.

Wonderful day out.

Football wise it feels like 10 long years since. Timewise it seems like yesterday.

Except taxes under the Tories have actually gone up, the highest tax burden for the public in 70 years! Theyve been an absolute disaster.

Bottom line is Labour (1997-2010) and the Conservatives (2010-2024) have run this country into the ground.

Collectively they’ve all turned their backs on the industries that generate wealth for the country. The countries that didn’t make this mistake now hold all the cards. They have the financial strength to overwhelm us both economically and militarily and undoubtedly that day will come.

Could we fight a war like we did in 1939, not a chance.

We live in a critically weakened country that any time in the future could be overwhelmed either externally or internally.

Whoever gets in will carry us a little closer in this tragic direction.

The Final: Attack on Wembley - Netflix
at 20:13 22 May 2024

Thing no one has mentioned.. it’s always us.

The punishment for the collective failure by the authorities and our thugs should have seen us not be considered for any international finals for 20 years minimum. Guess what, we’ve got Euro 2028.

It actually pays to be violent and incompetent!

I’d like them to give us a ‘none of the above’ option.

Southgate’s replacement.
at 15:20 20 May 2024

Klopp?

The scousers have always been a bit funny about England, think they like to think they might be more Irish or Apache or something, never been able to work it out, plus I don’t care.

Anyway, rather than leave that lot for England, a clean break and ‘thinking time’ would be the sensible PR way out of trouble and avoid any unwanted Stevie G shenanigans.

We’ll see.

If Leeds beat Southampton we’ve almost levelled up the North/South divide.

10 Northern, 2 Midlands,10 Southern and a couple of Welshies.

If Sky show the 10 Northern away games live we can get our carbon footprint down to net zero. What a time to be alive.

Pitch size
at 11:10 18 May 2024

Using the Pythagoras Theorem method, if we raised the pitch on the Ellerslie Road side by approx 16 metres, forming a ‘Yeovil slope’ to the South Africa Road side, we would add another 6 foot to the overall width of the pitch.

It would mean Ellerslie Road season ticket holders would no longer have a view of the pitch, or the entire ground for that matter, but on the plus side, we in the South Africa Road would have a panoramic view of proceedings.

End of Term Report 23/24 – Goalkeepers
at 10:44 17 May 2024

Blimey, I can only assume Joe Lumley was on E’s in every end of term report? He must have been on something.

Go along with the general theme and I’ve no idea how Opta work out their ratings, I’m sure they’re very good at it. That said, if there was the equivalent of a one on one situation where a goal against seemed more likely than unlikely, I generally felt that Begovic did exactly what a good keeper should do and saved more of those than anyone in recent memory aside of the other aforementioned bench sitter you spoke of who was excellent for us, his name will come back to me in a minute.

There were errors without doubt and the leave it to centre backs option was alarming but I can’t get past the fact that QPR don’t often do under 60 goals conceded especially in a side rooted in the bottom three for most of the season.

A D feels a bit harsh in those circumstances.

That said, you seem to be on the sort of roll where I can’t wait to see the forwards appraisals!

Smithies, that’s the one.
