Is this the first ref since Roger Kirkpatrick to referee more wins than losses?

Rangers going in the same direction as Dykes

Multi talented player.

Chelsea are in desperate need of a CF, if they took him off our hands with a £50 million bid, we'd have been robbed.

England - Chel*** players

Against my better judgment I thought I should read up and educate myself about last nights game and stumbled across the words ‘England coaching assistant, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank’.

WTF? His residency was the only time in nigh on 60 years that I boycotted games at LR (much like about half the ground at the time).

Shocking.

Fixture pile up
at 11:36 23 Mar 2024

Agree. In the last six months they’ve played between 2 and 4 games a month, you’d think they’d have seen this building into a problem before the last month of their season.

Also, after 75/76, I never want to see the advantage a team gets from a granted extended season.

Football Governance Bill

Just seen some Tory MP discussing this, Lucy Fraser, talking in riddles, sounding totally out of her depth, where do they find these people?

Only thing I gleaned from her interview is the Premier League is in safe hands and the rest of us are fcked.

Football Governance Bill

What’s shameful is that these incredibly powerful and wealthy clubs in the top league flatly refuse to come up with a fair solution for the rest of the leagues.

Can’t say I trust this government or any future government to get it right, but what an indictment of a nation that seems to need the state to hold its hand on virtually every function. No wonder this island has turned to shit.

Everton points deduction reduced
at 15:19 18 Mar 2024

It would probably have been 1 point if Luton had beat them yesterday.

Can’t help thinking all the points deductions/appeals are being determined with a view to sending Luton back to the Championship.

Sunderland stalemate keeps Rangers hanging – Report
at 07:42 18 Mar 2024

The scary thing is, at this place, Dykes is probably only one half decent goal away from being granted another ‘four more years’.

The problem with 90 minutes playing Armstrong on his own up front is that he’s not an on his own up front type of player.

We really should be moulding him as an Armand Traore Wolves type of footballer. At the moment Chair/Willock stands full square in the way of that happening. His best work is undoubtedly bowling down the flanks and getting in behind defences. At the moment, with one up front, that means he’s always crossing to midfielders and the inevitable outcome of missed chances.

Get a CF in with an instinct for goals and teach Armstrong a wide midfield role. With two good holding central midfielders this should be achievable.

We should ask the scum if we can have Sterling on a cheeky loan next season and offer to cover a couple of grand a week of his wages.

In terms of strikers we are League Two and that’s on a good day.

It’s testimony to the rest of the side that, despite that chronic handicap, we’re not fighting it out with Rotherham for last place.

Polter had me rolling about on the floor at the time, little did I know he was of Haaland proportions compared to what we started with this season.

Let’s remember, by now we should know that we’re not very good, it’s just about staying up no more.

The lack of a goal scorer will always mean we are up against it.

We now have six games where we should have the self belief to get over the line, problem is they’re mostly games where we are expected to make the game and that has proved fatal on many occasions with this side.

Whatever happens, if we go down now we deserve to go down, no excuses.

I’m happy with that point.

It’s away, we have no right to expect a win down where we are, it’s another gain on 4 of those around us and we don’t seem to have lost any ground on the others.

I had us on 66 points and a play off spot but have to admit, I only did our fixtures.

Might have a fiver at 500/1.
