This is the greatest song by an uncool band ever.

Cafe Ingles on the steps in Silvas as well.

Main tip though is O Barradas just outside Silves. Have the veal or a Cataplanya.

Winning Runs and Preston
at 22:17 23 Feb 2021

The West Ham game was one of my favourite home games ever.

Went with two of my wife’s cousins who were both in the away end. Matty Rose scored a lovely goal and we were third, first season back in the championship.

Winning Runs and Preston
at 19:53 23 Feb 2021

As far as I’m concerned we are owed one for tomorrow.

Our last great winning run was 2004 and I remember it fondly. Got married on the day we beat Plymouth. Enjoying my Honeymoon as we beat Crewe and Brighton. Back home for two of the best home games against Leicester and West Ham. Was on a massive high after the WH game

Santos put us one up at Preston and as those buggers always do. Did us over. Annoyed me ever since.
Please put that right tomorrow.

This is incredibly sad and feels quite personal today.

I found out on Monday that a close friend of over 25 years had died over the weekend. It seems unbelievable after spending a boozy day/evening with him just two weeks previously.

Depression is a terribly sad illness.

This is exactly the point and to add advocating people vote or join blatantly racist For Britain is the clincher.

Ironically led by an Irish woman.

I cannot believe the FL will insist on a £60 million fine. That is insanity. Surely it will be suspended of some sort.

I think you're being far to generous there. The truth is that the right wing political class are so badly compromised by lobbying and interest groups, that they pursue an anti environmental agenda regardless. The general public who support this polical viewpoint follow along without any real scrutiny of the facts and seize upon any news cycle that supports their position. Absolutely shocking state of affairs.

Why are those on the right so determined to undermine a cleaner environment.

Surely your own eyes and senses tell you that emissions are not good for you and harm both the planet and you individually. Being environmentally friendly is surely an intuitive thing to be.

Was at the Custom House Sq. gig in Belfast a couple of weeks ago when it was all cancelled 5 minutes before they were due on. It was all very strange and now have to wait to next August to re-use my ticket.

Seen then twice in the SSE in Belfast and they are a great band to have a lot to drink to.

Very well written column.

I like people who are prepared to offer an opinion that is likely to split people. Could play it safe but is reasoned and balanced.

Hysterical.

Replying to an Irishman about national atrocities of the German.

Conveniently forgetting Bloody Sunday which was more recent than WW2.

We also have a past to forget, Boer War, Empire etc. Let's not throw rocks at the Germans without owning our own past.

It is a political hot potato. The systematic profit making at the expense of the disadvantaged.

Accepting the result is fine.

You can still call out all the bs. Highlight it. Make sure future generations don't fall for it again. Remembering this stuff is crucial.

Is it not newsworthy this man is a person of interest in the FBI Russia investigation?

You are a wrong'un.

OK on reflection I can see the Angela Raynor/GOT thing.

I always have a soft spot for Liz Kendall until I discovered she had been ijn relationship with Greg Davies for years. Weird.

You have a very cosy undemocratic conspiracy.

“The connectivity that is the heart of globalisation can be exploited by states with hostile intent to further their aims.[…] The risks at stake are profound and represent a fundamental threat to our sovereignty.”
Alex Younger, head of MI6, December, 2016

“It’s not MI6’s job to warn of internal threats. It was a very strange speech. Was it one branch of the intelligence services sending a shot across the bows of another? Or was it pointed at Theresa May’s government? Does she know something she’s not telling us?”
