Going to be a dear do travelling by car (having a laugh with car park charges) - £33 + petrol + ........... Think I'll give this one a swerve. Don't bite the hand that feeds eh? The ticket point was kinda ironic ........ Bolton need to bring some Franking Sense to their pricing. Looks like I'll be taking wor lass for a fish supper and a mug of tea with a rose on the side instead.

Looking at a Google map, there seems to be plenty of shopping spaces around there and also an Industrial area t'other side of the main road from M61 in. Behind the shopping area is housing too. Then there's the cop shop in the locale too. No idea what parking enforcement is like, but my guess is if they charge £7 to park officially, the alternatives will be "policed" officiously.

Not been there since their premier league days but I would eat in the pizza hut and go and do a bit of shopping in the supermarket leaving the bags and receipts in full view in order to park for free in the shopping centre. Never got a ticket. | | | |

Pissed off by this. Could've been one of the best away matches/atmospheres of recent years but scheduled for Valentines Day (night), ridiculous pricing for both tickets and parking and I think the thing that's wound me up the most - the last train before the replacement bus to Manc is at 10pm, which MIGHT've been achievable had the kick-off been 19:45 as normal instead of 20:00...
Throw in a few less impressive results of late and no goals in four games and our away following is going to be down quite a bit. [Post edited 13 Feb 2017 19:32]
