Easy to write Exit Calm off as early Verve rip offs, but they were so much better than that (plus I went to uni with the guitarist).
As for Suoergrass, In It For The Money was one of the best albums of the so-called Britpop era. Was due to see them next month, too. |

I met Rob in Barnsley through a mutual friend. Not sure what he was studying at the time. Probably something music related. He also used to knock about with someone called Cheeky John. Apparently he was so called because he had a "Reyt cheeky face". Seems a lifetime ago now. |  |
