Where’s best to watch the early kick off game before the match?

Stats so far
at 22:20 4 Apr 2017

The table after tonight's game shows the following:
- 2 teams have scored more than us
- 5 teams have conceded more.
Good recruitment in the summer including a keeper and centre back and we could have a very successful next season ahead of us.

Not forgetting his poor kick led to Keane getting sent off at Southend

Logan has to be taken out of the firing line, Diba has been with us long enough now and if Hill doesn't trust him then he shouldn't be on our books.

Interesting reading their managers comments, very impressive! Spoke about how he realised that they couldn't play their usual game on our pitch and so put on their taller and more physical players. Fully deserved their win in the end.

I thought we played well but our final ball let us down (every cross was caught by their keeper).

It's great that Conrad has returned after a nasty injury but it's clear that he can no longer push off from that foot - there's no propulsion or agility, hence not being quick offf his line. Their third goal which should have been a routine save demonstrated that - no quick push off but instead a drop to the floor and a weak save that ended up with the ball in the net. His extra weight surely must be affecting his kicking technique!

Parking at Chesterfield

I'll be leaving work in Sheffield on Saturday and heading straight to Chesterfield. Can anyone recommend anywhere to park that's near to the ground so I don't miss kick off?

Thanks in advance

Use an before a word that starts with a vowel sound. If it does not start with a vowel sound, use a. For example:

A man
An elephant

No depth at all, without hogan we have no one up front. Bunney MOM? Hahahaha just awful. No leaders on the pitch and I didn't hear hill once.

Well done Southend.

Why is that some managers refer to a player as 'the boy'?! It gets to me every time I hear it

Just remembered that Ben Futcher was in attendance in the Main Stand. He's now a development coach over at Bury

Ways to get the local community more involved
at 09:56 20 Jul 2013

Now I know this has been covered before regarding attendances but here's an idea. Last night I went to see Leeds Rhinos and at half time their entertainment was fantastic! They had different primary schools competing in sports day-like races whilst carrying a ball and then ended it with over 100 children from a local dance club doing a routine in front of the main stand. Not only were all of those children in attendance but so were their parents and family who were all at the front of the stands taking photos and cheering. On the other side of the pitch were around 4 or 5 different mini rugby matches going on (which I know we already do).

Could we improve what we have on at half time? Maybe the football in the community staff could organise little football-based competitions (races, penalty shootouts) between local schools during each home game?
