New Ollie Rathbone song
at 20:20 19 Jan 2017

He was young
He was free
Come to Rochdale
And you'll see

That there is somebody called Ollie Rathbone
He's the one.

(To the tune of Angels: Robbie Williams)

Pronunciations

Andrew Tutte;
Is is Tutte as in Tut
Tutte as in Toot
or Tutte as in Tutty?

Matty Done;
Is is Done as in 'I am done'
or is it Done as in 'I do not condone that'?

I dont access KH's interviews which would have helped me on this so can anybody put me straight on this matter?

Thanks

I'm off
at 10:03 18 Dec 2012

Not from the Dale, i'll always be at the games no matter how bad we play, who the manager is, what league we're in etc.

I'm off from this forum and the total parody of its old self it has become in the last couple of months.

About 25% of posts recently must be from complete tos sers who think it is hilariously funny to post utter nonsensical tripe just to try and provoke a reaction and make themselves feel important. Seriously, get a life.

It has become a chore to filter through piles of shit e just to find a thread that is intelligent.

Alas it will also mean an end to reading the fantastically Alan Partidge-esque Awaydayreviews but that is a sacrifice I sadly will be making.

There are choices in life.....

I personally don't like watching Coronation Street, so if it happens to be on I turn over and decide not to watch it.

If you don't enjoy watching Rochdale and end up spending 111 minutes constantly moaning, DO NOT GO! You are not legally obliged to pay £15 to spend your Tuesday night at Spotland.

This is aimed at the half a dozen middle aged men stood in the Sandy just to the right of the goal, particularly the pissed clown with the glasses and Fila jacket (you know who you are.)

Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, and yes, the standard of football we are watching is below the standard we expect, but at times the abuse aimed at our own players, the ones we are supposed to be SUPPORTING was ridiculous. I advise you to stay away otherwise you may end up searching the internet for the best ways to tie a noose, such is the apparent dislike for all things Coleman, Cavanagh and Scousers.

Super League

Great entertaiment on Sky the last two nights so far, and 3 more weeks to follow.

(Cue Egg chasing abuse)

Obv it doesn't come close to football but i genuinly love it, its a fast paced game with lots of action and the best point of it it the fact you can hear the ref talking to the players.

Do you think this would work in football or do you think SKY havn't introduced it due to the language and disrespect shown in football and basically inviting an OFCOM report?

Quick, hide that ad board.

I can't imagine Barnsleydale being overly impressed with Jim O Brien dislocating his shoulder/breaking his arm/chipping a nail on a discarded Co-Op advertising hoarding after a tackle form McIntyre.

I noticed 2 stewards quickly folding it up and sweeping it under the carpet whilst whistling. One even winked at me and said "You aint seen me right?"

On a more serious note, hope the lad makes a speedy recovery, looked a painfull one. Complete accident and actually a very good tackle from R'Kev

Has anybody stopped to think...
at 20:53 29 Oct 2011

That players that were here last year are not performing to the same level they did last year under less pressure. Holness, Jones, Kennedy main culprits. Is that down to the new manager not bringing out the best in these players or is it to do with the fact that in lg1 they were never the 'star players' but good old Dale players who did their jobs above expectation. I know that this year they have not hit the same heights of the last 2/3 years, but is that really SE fault or the individuals. Ignoring new players but focussing on the old....what are the thoughts???
