They were slightly better but I still really dislike them, they would be better if they didn't have all the irratating transition effects. That is what really draws your eye away from the play. There is a reason the vast majority of clubs don't use them and it's not that our commercial department is much more innovative. |  | | |

It's quite simple, turn them off during the game. Play all the averts before the game, half-time and at the end. Think of the fans, not a few extra quid from the ads (no idea how much the club get from displaying these ads, but not worth it, regardless). |  |

I didn't notice them at all, they were clearly a lower resolution and dimmer. Leigh Dineen has said that they'll be working on them over the next couple of weeks as well.
If you've got epilepsy, I'd definitely asked to be moved towards the back of the upper tier. | |

Here is an idea.
Why not get rid of them completely thereby reducing the height of the hoardings. Replace them with conventional advertising boards facing the stands at the back of said hoardings. The same advertisers can use the new space provided.
Result. No flashing lights. The view is improved for those down the front. No loss of revenue and the advertisers actually have an advert that can be seen by all. I sit up the back and I hardly notice the lights let alone read what is on them.
Alternatively I could be missing something here. I am open to correction.
