Utterly pointless. Put the real music on at home and have drink instead.
If I want a theatrical masterclass I'll watch the RSC.
Yeah right ...dig out an old Maiden album from 30 years ago with a can or two of warm, pissy lager or watch these beauties performing live...much prettier to look at than the originals too.....
Hmmm it's a tough one.

Tribute to iron maiden .dear god
What I don't get is why you even bothered clicking on the thread if it's of no interest to you? There's plenty of music talk on this forum, most of which I have no interest in... So guess what.... (novel idea alert).... I don't bother reading it, least of all commenting.
In fact, quite often interesting threads get derailed when you, Lohengrin etc. post up some barely relevant dirge from YouTube, seemingly in some vain attempt of cultured pretense, and nothing is said. Probably cause other people are decent enough to respect differing tastes? Maybe you should try extending a similar courtesy?
Ok I bit. But nothing pisses me off more than music snobbery

Without those "barely relevant dirges", heavy metal wouldn't exist.
You need to check your own post for the music snobbery you profess to hate by the way...

Case in point Rog. I've got no interest in the X Factor (unless we're talking about the Iron Maiden album of the same name ) so I've never even bothered clicking on your annual threads as far as I remember.
I think the thing is, Perch has turned into a right condescending so and so. If it's not Swansea he's looking down at, it's something else

I often think about listening to those Maiden tunes when we were travelling to those away games, my hearing has never been the same since.
