A good, strong and varied field. Many intelligent and erudite posters (plus Oldjack) who have added depth to the forum in this its poorest year since Jackarmy.net's inception.
Like Drizzy, I refuse to vote for Lisa on account of her ridiculous stance on the "poor people" who annoyed her by purchasing a £10 DVD instead of the £7 one. Uxy's a top fella and always adds something to the forum. It could be him. T2C, while a lovely fella in the flesh, is combative and sometimes aggressive on here and he's often beastly to me so I won't vote for him. Warwick is funny but his Monk-hating stance (cue loquacious denial) has ruled him out of getting my vote. Jackonicko is also an excellent poster but his tedious spats with Shaky bore me rigid. Maybe next year if he can ignore the forum's resident financial guru.
Monmouth is one of my favourites. It could be him. Waynekerr seems like a lovely fella but his insistence on continuing to use the tired old random CAPITAL letters "joke" rules him out. Epaul's a fellow leftie and another top bloke. It could be him. Starsky would be the safe option, it could be him.
If Neath_Jack was there he'd get my vote automatically. One of the few these days whose posts I actively look out for. And seems like a lovely fella too. Shame he's not there.
So, Uxy, Monmouth, Epaul or Starsk. I shall ruminate further.
Not too fussed with the nominations really - it's all a bit Mondeo Man, with a couple of exceptions. If I could be arsed to vote, I'll probably go for Monmouth.
I'd vote for Rancid if he was there, or maybe Neath_Jack, or Drizzy, his baiting of other posters can be an amusing distraction to the 'accounting porn' on offer elsewhere, even if I admire the people he baits - and I often do.
I realize I could have just nominated those people at the time, but, 'meh' just about sums up my attitude to this site these days, so...meh.
Tempted to vote for T2C just for the comedy of Perchy's inevitable reaction.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I was just pointing out the sheer pointlessness of asking for nominations, if you were then to ignore them and just go with ones you wanted. Not really a Planetswans poster of the year then, is it.
Its a "who does everyone like the best out of Phiillips 10 posters" award.

Could be a good idea to have two categories, a 'football' poster of the year and a 'other' poster of the year. I think you would get my vote on the football front.

Cheers lifey.
Think we did do that once if memory serves.

I call it as I see it.
Yes I had to edit it because it first appeared blank
I have a feeling though you are taking the whole thing a bit too seriously and given your tendency to just argue the same point over and over I shall happily leave you to your aw diddums moment that we can all see
Keep on crying though, there is always next year
You actually had a good year on here until the last month when you have just reverted to type and become as boring as each and every one of your previous names. It's a shame but so true.

Not at all, I am just of the opinion that if you are going to do something then its just as easy to do it properly. Sort of renders the thing a bit pointless doesn't it, which can be argued makes it boring. but yes i'm definitely crying, uncontrollably.
I'm sorry I have not entertained you this month Phillip. I can only suggest you put me on ignore if it makes you bored, although its worth pointing out being an entertainer isn't in my job description. I am merely a poster that says it as he sees it, sometimes it will suit you, sometimes it wont.
I have just made the point that you haven't taken the boards nominations and applied them to this, so it is not a board poster of the year. common sense is it not?

The year will get better for you I promise

The difference of course being, I'm not really fussed whether you think they do or not
Clearly this one has upset you but you'll get over it soon enough
How many times can one poster use the "there, there" defence mechanism is one thread? of course one could make the observation that in fact it is you that hasn't taken me pointing out the glaring hole here very well, depends what side of the fence you sit on.
Education standards will have to improve.. especially when a jobless tit makes a tit out of you.. it's all political that list..
Lisa - isn't all that.. makes a few errors in her postings. Uxbridge - a self conscious blagger T2C - Heart of a lion.. can get caught up in the heat of the moment Warwick - when backed into a corner gets abusive Jackonicko - another blagger.. a fart without the noise.. has his rare silent smelly one. Monmouth - shouldn't be on the list for me OJ - the whipping boy.. takes it like a man though. Waynekerr - thinks he's an educated God of fitness.. considering he's a CAPITALIST it isn't a surprise. Epaul - passion for his political beliefs.. he's been pretty boring this year Starsky - rarely posts anything worthy..
I'm not voting.. it's like voting for the political parties in this country.. all poor choices
The awkward moment when a Welsh Club become the Champions of England.. shh
The Swansea Way.. To upset the odds.

Whether you are fussed or not is irrelevant.

Well, if you want to continue crying about it then expect the same responses after all we can all see how much it has upset you
If you like, I will speak to the four highest and pass you into the final, I would hate for it to spoil your new year more than it already has

Do you see any tears? Im replying, that isn't crying. some may say you are crying about me pointing it out?
I'm simply pointing out that there is a glaring hole in this event, just as I will be pointing out and discussing the glaring ref error regarding the Green handball incident later today - neither force me to cry though Mr S.
Neath_Jack is a hell of a shout too. How Phil (Warwick Hunt) has made the list despite the fact he's spent most of the year hiding and only occasionally popping to take a shot at Monk ahead of him is a farce.
I'll gladly drop out to let Parlay in Phil. Lisa or T2c are the only two possible posters of the year for their energy and persistence in the face of adversity.

Quite right. The list is awful.
PS a friend of mine is hiring new staff. No skills required. Do you know anyone that might be interested?
