I wonder why SCFC spend so much money on all of the development players but never seem to promote them to first team status. I can think of two in recent memory: Joe Allen and Ben Davies, the latter in an emergency situation. Have I missed anyone?
Surely we're not making money on these programs -- not "real" money, at least? The money we got from selling them surely does not cover the expense of the programs?

Why can't we get Malcolm Elias back? He seems to have a pretty good knack of unearthing and developing real talent. He seemed to do well here, Southampton and now at Fulham.

Botto Biabi, on some Swansea forums people are suggesting he should be on the bench.
Ryan Blair is rated by several North of the border as the best of the four.

Two of them paid back any cost for me on Wednesday. The whole team got a massive result and they were integral parts. Fulton has always impressed me and I can't remember him letting us down. Taking a punt on them doesn't bother me at all. | |

Some on here are just galactically stupid. Even if none of them make it here long term it'll cost us a relative pittance to find out.
And as Darran said, the one who makes the biggest noise about how much we've apparently wasted on them contributes nothing to the club anyway.
