Take a bow, wonderful performance and what crosses!

Yeah, thought the crosses showed up Taylor's deficiency, tbh.

By all means start throwing stones and I'm taking nothing away from those attacking forays but the left side of our defence looked absolutely gash.

The left side of our defense always looks gash.

And what is good Phaedrus, and what is not good. Need we ask anyone to tell us these things?

Taylor has one assist in six seasons. Kingsley has achieved that in three games.

Kingsley coming in and playing like this does thoroughly show Taylor up. Decent backup player, should never have been first choice for as long as he has been.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Can't blame Kingsley for that. Blame him if he didn't go for it.

Taylor is the better defensive full back, Kingsley is the better attacking full back, by quite some distance in both cases.

I think Kingsley may have the edge next season, as he is probably more adaptable and there are more ways we can play with a full back who will bomb down the outside.

Absolutely, also put himself in where he could have got hurt. No issue for me just feel a bit sorry for the kid didnt derseve the OG.

He's not the finished article by any means, but he has a great future for us - we just need to give him a run of games and let him build some experience.

For whatever reason though, that centre back partnership today was better than any other partnership we've had this season in dealing with set pieces. They must have had 15 corners or so and we defended them really well and that's with Carroll against them who is as good from set pieces as any forward in this league.

Of course you can't, though the commentator on my stream mentioned it was an own goal about ten times.

It's hardly as if they wouldn't have scored anyway. If he hadn't gone for it it was an open goal from about a foot out.

He will get over it pretty quickly. Far better (for him personally) to have had a really good game, score an own goal and us win 4-1, than for him to play poorly and not score the og.

Antonio's lack of sense at right back gave us a hard time defending and an easy time going forward on the left.

Kingsley is what I was expecting from Tabanou this season.

Thought Kingsley had a good game, and was no way responsible for the OG.
Admittedly watched on a poor stream, but I felt he lacked a bit of pace.

Did you? I thought the pace at which he broke for our second was outstanding. I was shocked at how fast he seemed.

He played them all onside before sticking it in our net. Not ideal.

Positionally a little naive playing them onside, but there was nothing he could do about the. OG.

Kingsley stripped them apart at will, he is a superb talent.
If we are attacking I suppose we don't have to worry about defending.
We will win 6-5 next week 👍

i did, second half in foot race between himself and a West Ham player (not sure of his name) he was between the ball and attacker and chose to obstruct him and give a free kick in a very dangerous position rather than trust his pace.
I'll take another look at it tonight, if they show the incident.

I know the incident you mean - didn't think it was for reasons of pace - like you, I will watch it later.

For his assist he looked faster than he is because he was already going full pelt when he got the ball, and the West ham defender was still going the other way.
