Fair play - there are some stupid posts flying around at the moment but this may just about be the most stupid.

For someone who bangs on about losing the class divide fairly frequently, you aren't half in thrall to it.

Part of the problem with the word 'disabilities' is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted. But what of people who can't feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren't able to form close and strong relationships? And people who cannot find fulfillment in their lives, or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities.

Impressive that you know that much about posters on here Perch.

Not had my questionnaire from you though, so I can let you know that the only ones that apply to me are that I like to think I'm good (although that's a bit of a nebulous concept without more description of what exactly you mean by good), fairly peaceful and benevolent, I enjoy beer and wine at different times and I occasionally get pissed, which even more occasionally leads to eating a kebab. The rest are wrong. Thanks for your interest though.

Labour stands for taking money from the wealthy, the people that have got off their ass to do something with their life, tax the shit out of them only to give that money to the local bike down the road with 10 kids by 10 fathers who's still knocking them out and all on benefits.... this is the ideals of the Labour Party.

Yeh, totally! Poor people suck!

Some of them just want to be poor!

Am I doing this right? Or do I need to add in more generalizations?

I think there are some people who like to be poor - they have no drive in their life and it's sad. I don't necessarily see them as labour voters more likely ukip

I'm seriously thinking of it this time round. Only way we can get Tories out here is via labour vote. I'm generally good, benevolent, peaceful and like a good beer too. So I must be qualified, although the thought does make me sick up a bit. Still better than tory though.

I read what you wrote and you pigeonholed all labour voters as Jew hating council house dwellers. Of which I am neither! Why do you love the Tories so much? When the treat the worst off in our society like animals, including the disabled?

One of my brothers faces threat of eviction this week. He worked hard as a printer for 20 years, rarely ever was off sick and lost his job when the directors of his last firm pulled the plug.

He signed up to work on a zero hour contract with a company that after a month left him without work for three weeks and so apart from having difficulty in eating couldn't pay his rent.

So a man who has worked hard all of his life and lost his job though no fault of his own could be on the streets next Tuesday.

And it's all down to people like yourself who have had a good career and now a good pension but have the "f*ck the rest, I'm alright now" attitude with no social conscience whatsoever who will vote Tory because you believe people like him are feckless lazy scroungers.

You are disgusted by Corbyn because he doesn't wear sharp suits, lives in London , once supported the idea of a united Ireland (which ironically may happen under brexit) but wants to help the struggling people of this country , especially the young with no hope of getting on the housing ladder because of the pitiful living standards the Tory government has allowed to build because of their hatred for the poor and love of their big money non tax paying corporate donors.

If you are disgusted by Labour and not the Tories you should really examine your moral compass.

No, don't bother examining it. Get a new one . Yours is f*cked

Excellent post.
As an aside I have just watched Andrew Marr owning Teresa May.
She put up a truly shocking performance. Austerity continues. schools will decline and Public Sector workers will continue to have wage cuts in real terms. They have lost 14% so far under the Tories and some nurses are now having to go to food banks.
Even though Brexit negotiations are in a mess from the off, with complete disagreement with the EU, she will blame Brexit for continued austerity.
If you think life was bad under the Tories you ain't seen nothing yet. Unless you are very comfortably off you must be mad voting for this Party.

McDonnell often speaks well and always seems to have a plan and he seems to have some old socialist values but in the past has been capable of ill advised comments.

Ah the past. Doesn't the media just love raking up old comments and views? I prefer to live in the here and now.
I will be interested to see how this fully costed manifesto Labour will turn out. It was interesting that the Tories have blocked other Parties from accessing finacial information to fully cost their plans. Labour will allow acces to all if in government.
I must say I am surprised how well the Labour campaign is going so far....
