Only just joined here lads but I have read the site regular and have seen all the debates and all the criticism Huw Jenkins has received etc. But credit where it's due surely he has redeemed himself with the success of his January Transfers and the prices he has paid for them. Every 1 person on here slated Tom Carrol , Jordan Ayew, Martin Olsssen, and 1 or 2 others but look how well they have done. Who would have picked Alfie Mawson ?? He was slated too. Would you swap him back for Ash now ? Him and Fernandez are rock solid and will only improve next year . Football is all about opinions and I just feel he needs to be cut some slack . I'm pretty sure he went on to the Americans and said ' look get rid of Bradley I've got to live in this city and it's not working ' It's been a really difficult season on and off the field and 1 where we need to learn from mistakes . The transfer window last January was crazy prices and it's easy to make rash decisions. Imagine we bought 3 players at £15million like Baston and they didn't work out . We would be doomed. Our market is the average premier league player valued up to £7 million max . Mid table for swans is punching above our weight . We look a decent side now and fingers crossed I'm sure we will be fine and normal service to resume next year.

So buying a few average championship standard players makes everything A OK ? So what would you have done different. It's a ruthless business. It's not nicey nicey. Agents fees etc. All a ruthless business. I have heard some ppl say they would be happy ' to have their club back and be in league 2 '. Bloody hell where's the ambition ? What's point in living ? Like I say he's made mistakes. It's not his football club - never has been never will be. It's our club. He used it to line his pockets and to hell with anything good he might have had a hand in up to that point. He deserves all the vitriol and more it's a shame we've struggled and people have shifted their focus because had we been mid table it might have been a little bit more uncomfortable for him to say the least.
As for people like you scotty68 can you come up with a more compelling argument than "if it was me I'd do the same". I'm sure deep down you would at least think about that and how shafting tens of thousands of people to line your pockets is a good thing I'm glad some of us feel the opposite and think that the rewards they'd gained was more than recompense for what they are alleged to have done over a decade ago. 500k a year for a job he's not qualified to do. What would we have done differently?
How about:
Keeping less of a six figure salary as chairman and appointing a proper recruitment team with the other half/two thirds of salary used on this
Stop meddling in team affairs (managers are over rated)
Not stitched the trust up
Ran the commercial arm properly
