Anyone got any Weshisms I haven't heard of? ...as in phrases like..

Who's coat that jacket?
I went outside and there was my bike, gone.
I'll do it now in a minute.

These would all entertain my English chums.

'Togs' for football boots. Might be a Llanelli thing?

Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

That's a UK thing shirley?

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

We use "togs' in the Bont when referring to football or rugby boots.

Tidy. I'm not sure if it's a West Wales thing then?

If I mention it in England or Cardiff nobody seems to have heard it in that context.

Well it's certainly used around Neath and Port Talbot.

Cwtch.

Morning, morning,

'ch' is a (double) letter in the Welsh alphabet, making a 'ch' sound as in 'ychafi'.

'ch' in the English language makes a sound as in 'match' or 'championship', thus rendering it as being the English spelling. Debatable, but that's my take on it!
