I'm undecided whether this is a good or bad thing - that a US low cost diner chain have picked Swansea for their first venture into the U.K. market.
When I lived in the US I used to love going to Denny's on a Sunday morning but there's no getting away from the fact it's a bit "pile it high, sell it cheap" (think "Upland's diner with free refills").
But hey, I will definitely take the wife along to try it. And she will almost certainly be disgusted.

IHOP is better, but none of Taco Bell, IHOP or Denny's are really very good-like the rubbish that is Frankie and Benny's. Lucky enough to have some real American food in Georgia and New Orleans in recent years.
There are some good upmarket American chains like Bahama Breeze and Maggiano's Little Italy-both are excellent but more like the $20-30 for a main course, though do excellent lunch deals | | | |

Bahama breeze is lovely, i always scrounge a free chowder in there too. I'm a bit of a sucker for chili's and buffalo wild wings too. Wish someone would do a proper sports bar serving wings in this country, tv's everywhere showing all sports (not walkabout).
