Well he's creating a talking point in fairness, it would be a dull place without peeps doing so, football is all about rumours as you know, I'd say its all done with good intentions for the most part.
I get quite excited about some of the players we get linked/rumoured with, but unfortunately 90% don't come off, I didn't think we'd get Gyilfi back, but we have and I can't wait to see him in action again in a Swans shirt, just hope a few more follow him. [Post edited 22 Jul 2014 20:43]

Strange but exciting dynamic once again this summer.
Each transfer window has thrown it's challenge whether it be replacing managers or great players (adored by us Swans fans )
Each window for strengthening becomes the most competitive.
Just when you get a quality keeper and a striker there departs a cult hero Michu and one of the brightest stars in Welsh and British football Ben Davies.
Hernandez, Ki, De Guzman ,Vorm...all players of high regard in THE PREMIERSHIP. Top players who'd get into most premier sides outside the top 6.
But if Siggurddson arrives that is spot on...just the quality/character we need
Having supported us during the Harry Griffiths /Tosh years and all the lows ,highs, and lows:) in between there were many who said the Prem was a dream and we'd never do it.
We are doing it and winning neutrals along the way.
Let's hope these coming 7 days see the players signed that Monk has genuinely targeted. A few more Sigurddson type arrivals and perhaps we will have a side (like our centenary Michu specials ) that can give the Prem our best shot, entertain and win enough points to stay in there.
Perhaps a tilt at the FA Cup or League Cup in 2014-15 ?
The Bony' will he won't he?' will be vital as to how this strengthening and early season shapes up.
The club is a success so great players will move on...the nature of Prem but let's face it Bony is a 25 million pound player. One that Gary Monk desperately needs to keep at this moment in time and have firing fully fit come Old Trafford Aug 16th | | | |
