If its just the battery isn't this something you could change yourself. Can't be that difficult I would have thought.
Just check the rating of current battery and replace like for like. Its only going to be max two cables like a car/motorbike or a plug in unit [Post edited 20 Jan 2016 12:57]

If its just the battery isn't this something you could change yourself. Can't be that difficult I would have thought.
Just check the rating of current battery and replace like for like. Its only going to be max two cables like a car/motorbike or a plug in unit [Post edited 20 Jan 2016 12:57]

And you need to take the seat and cover off to get to it.
They do it on purpose so they can charge £140 to do it, a set of batteries costs £27 the rest is 20 mins max labour £113.
No reason why they can't put the battery in a easy position so people who have forked out £5000
for a stair lift can change the battery themselves except they want to screw the disabled customer
