In the days when playing (note to modern kids reading: this meant outside) normally carried the risk of returning home with bumps, bruises, scratches, cuts and the occasional broken bone. All part of growing up .

Growing up in the upper Swansea Valley, we used to enjoy the occasional downhill race on the tips using corrugated sheets.

Fun times too.

There's a brake on that thing, no self respecting road hog had brakes. And it's got four wheels of the same size. Must have been some posh minge from the Gower or somewhere.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Great days we often canibalised old bikes and prams to make a gambo.

In winter it would be a sledge with rails.
