Always good to have a biased ref on our side willing to let a stonewall pen go by.

He's a decent ref to be fair

Fairly good performance, was a bit slow dishing the cards for consistent fouls. No major decisions wrong.

The linesmen seemed to understand offside as well ☝

I think they need to have a chat with Gomis though and tell him where he's going wrong 😉

You wouldn't be saying that if ash's foul on Ighalo in the box had been the other way around. Would have been screaming for a penalty.

Very lucky to get away with that.

My arse. Both were fighting for position. Ash was stronger. Watford dork was backing in.

Stonewall penalty?

Do you mean that 50:50 tussle? Seen them given, but not usually unless it's for Man Utd at Old Trafford or similar.

Always liked Oliver. He and Clattenberg are the only decent refs.

The ref had given 2 free kicks only a couple of minutes earlier just outside the box against Fernandez for exactly the same thing.

Lucky, but who gives a fhcuk.

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

The Watford player had his arm around Ash, both guilty of foul play, play on.

Oliver is a good ref, doesn't get everything right but doesn't come across as arrogant either. one of the few ref's that isn't afraid to make a big call against a big team if needs e.

Had a good game tonight, hardly knew he was there, which is how it should be!

You mean the Williams penalty that should have been awarded near the end

What do you mean "about time"? We've had about three penalties not given against us for example Bournemouth.

I thought Oliver was spot on last night, didn't make any serious mistakes for me. The 'penalty' shout was a fifty:fifty and the Watford man was definitely backing in.

The only time my heart was in my mouth was when Leon did his second half swan dive and palm away ("I headed it, ref, honest") in midfield to intercept their through ball. I was mighty relieved to see the yellow come out, not the red.

Totally different, Fernandez went through the forward, the penalty incident the attacker was backing in looking for it, harsh if given

I don't think you can get a red for that unless you are the last man. Could be wrong though.

Yes, that's exactly it. From my angle, I wasn't sure if he was the last man or not.
