My step daughter is doing a half marathon down there on Sunday, I've checked the distance and driving times, and it says it will take her about an hour and a half to get there. I can't see it myself as although i haven't been down there for some time, i remember the roads were pretty bad for someone who doesn't know them well. Follow signs to Haverfordwest but don't go into town centre, and Dale is on the Milford Haven road.
With light traffic I can get to Haverfordwest in 45 mins from Carmarthen, Swansea to Carmarthen is 30 mins, so an hour and a half is allowing time. |  | | |

Should have come up here mun. I'm running (I use the word loosely) one in the Forest of Dean on Sunday. Less than an hour's drive from Swansea and healthy air, hills and cowpats. What more could you want. She needs to get there more than half hour before though mate, after a drive there you need to get your legs and lungs prepared. |  |

I live in Neyland about 12 miles east of Dale and from home to the Liberty I allow 1and 1/2 hours. Forget Haverfordwest when she gets to end of dual at St Clares take the Pembroke Dock road new Dual misses out little villages when at PD take roundabout for A477 (there is the toll bridge over the Cleddau 75p) follow signs for Milford then on to Dale. Last 5 miles into Dale are narrow and if there a lot of people going for the run allow extra time, roads can get conjested down that way even on a normal day! Good luck for the run. |  |
