Very similar to ML and Tutumulu even though the latter was self funding. I suspect the fee would be about 10m pa now and would effectively make the post of DOF redundant. I can't see the egotistical turkey voting for Christmas.
Shame as for me this is the exact type of manager we need in charge here.
A name that commands respect and who would have contacts all over the world.
Even the thought of the failed roofer sitting in his chair doing the square root of eff all would be a small price to pay for this.
