Nardi 11:51 - Dec 7 with 1269 views

I am sure his performance yesterday has been mentioned in earlier threads but yesterdays performance was outstanding and deserves a thread of its own. We know he has it in his locker but this season he has been very much on edge (as have we all when he fails to command his box)

However, and even the manager mentioned it, he made some key saves yesterday that could easily have flipped the game on its head had he not made them. He also made a very commanding punch in the box and was good to see JCS and Jimmy go over and say well done.

I don't think he was at fault for their goal but there are people better placed than me to comment on that. Hopefully that will boost his confidence and he can build on it over the Christmas period.

On a side note, our defence looked more comfortable with JCS returning but that's for another discussion.

Fine performance.

I thought the double save was very good, thought the rest of his saves were standard but well executed, thought that West Brom didn't attack his weaknesses (only three corners and rarely looked to cross on top of him), but most of all I just thought that he looked quick and positive, and confident.

Absolutely not at fault for the goal, imo - just to reply to your question, but really disappointed for him that he didn't get his clean sheet. Would have been nice for him.

Thought he had a great game and the double save was so important at a crucial phase in the match. It was as important as a goal scored.

Couple of misplaced kicks but then the WBA keepers kicking was twice as bad.

Keeps the shirt for Tuesday night for me.

A personal thing but I really like how involved he seems to be when we win. Passionate for the team. Oxford away last year just one example. He loves it.

He made a very good save straight after the first goal as well. Played well yesterday. Certainly not at fault for the goal. Dunne should have done better there.
