Personally I wouldn’t have Ronald anywhere near the starting lineup. Shoehorn Inoussa or Yalcouye in instead, the rest of the team I’m happy with. Though I wouldn’t be against Casey starting at the back.

..."who will guard the guards..?"

I thought Ronald had a decent game yesterday. I also thought Inoussa was very lightweight when he came on and did little in the 20 minutes he had. Defensively I would rest Cabango and play Casey.

If fit and there is apparently a niggle I think he will go with the same squad.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Only question for me is can Franco go again? He has a habit like Eom of turning up for one game and not the other. I do have to say, putting aside Eom, Franco and Ronald bad habits of falling over at every opportunity, both Franco and Eom have started to buy into the quick press. It's been clear in the last 2 matches that both players have added this more into their game which Matos will want.

So will Franco have the legs? I would proberly go for Yalkouye. If not then put Galbraith into midfield midfield and Casey as right back or Parker. Inoussa for Ronald as well.

Other than that same again.

Who knows
Just keep Key Cullen and Fulton away from the pitch
I “ hate” them

All of them do nothing of note

We need to build

I would prefer Galbraith in midfield but I'll have him in Keys role any day of the week. Key for all his intent of attack is terrible. I was surprised we never got a replacement for him in the summer. Galbraith was seen as cover but, Parker over Key as well. Cullen brings nothing. He is now a Bellamy player and that's it. Fulton I am his biggest critic, and I hope we don't give him a new contract next year, but has his place in experience.

Key should not be at our club
This isn’t personal or hate speech
He’s simply it fit for purpose
Same with Cullen who points but given a chance 18 yrs out kicks it high into the stand
Fulton is loved by some as he’s been a “ great servant”
It might be me because he’s a player who has been earning a tidy living for never playing a full game
Why play him at all
It’s not fair on other players who could step up
It boils my urine , frankly

Widdell ,Ive read is not “ ready”
It really makes one think as to what goes on in the minds of folks

Galbraith , in short, is a diamond who we need to nurture and protect
He gets little praise really
Some prefer to extol the virtues of key Cullen and Fulton

Think we have enough retention survive

Sadly our coaches of late have been “ shite” and have ruined players but it’s not apparent to many

I think Vitor might well
Be the real deal

I’ve been proven right about the last five coaches but this one might be a Stella one albeit by chance

Instead of getting a replacement for Key in in the summer we extended his contract.

It was an extension to 2027. So in theory, it's a good time to sell him in the summer with 1 year left on his contract. If anything this is more reason to do it. Fulton is out of contract and should go.

Fulton is a regular squad member, don't be surprised if he signs a new contract on reduced wages.

Still a capable Championship player. Never kicks up a stink when on the bench. Clearly held in high regard by the club. Only going to be 32 by the start of next season.

I wouldn't rule it out either.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Sometimes you have to look beyond your feelings for a player, positive or negative and use common sense.

I like him as a player. Always have. He shouldered a lot of the blame for how we played with him and Grimes in the middle despite Captain Fantastic being at least equally culpable. He seemed to be the only player in Matos' first game who actually understood the assignment.

It also seems obvious that he's an easy target for people who like their football without too much thinking. You don't play 300+ games in the top two divisions of English football under a variety of coaches unless you're up to the job, a simple reality that passes some of the thickies by.

I still expect him to move on just because of the financials, but if a deal can be struck for another year or two then we'll get our money's worth.

His partner and the boys are settled here I'm not sure they want to move in the summer. But if he doesn't get an offer here perhaps he will go to boost his pension for two years and the family will stay based here. What people should remember is he is getting more game time than some of the summer signings.

His demise has been predicted with the appointment of every manager since Potter, yet all of them come back to him in the end. Even Russy, who tried harder than most to move him on.

You'd think the fact that the only manager who has really tried to get shot of him was the worst one of the lot would give some of his denser critics pause for thought, but apparently not.

"hate them" - how old are you man, grow up!

They might well be out of form or just not equipped to play in this dire current system, all good professionals however who are putting effort in. Hardly a reason to be hated?

Martin had Fulton out in the cold for so long until he realised that he needed him. Would it really have made sense to let him go this summer after by the end of the season we had lost Grimes, Allen, O'Brien, Darling and Naughton's experience from the team.
Let us remember Grimes moved on, Allen returned after moving on and struggled fitness wise, O'Brien used us as a means to recover his place in a starting eleven and Naughton came here after losing his place in the Tottenham team and strugled for pace, Darling had also gained a settled place in the team as well but like Allen in the past moved on, we have found it very hard to keep that settled team a mix of youth, quality and experience, it is not right yet. The last few games Eom seems to be getting back to his best after losing his way, Widell is yet to find a consisted 90 minutes, Stamenic has been hit by a situation that has obviously had an affect but had he settled in yet anyway. Yalcouye was in and out of the team, the sending off was not unexpected as a couple of times a second yellow would have been justified. Franco does seem to offer us a level of experience now and Galbraith is coming on in leaps and bounds.
I think all of us would want Galbraith in the midfield but getting the right formation there has been our problem.
Is Fulton now surplus to requirements now and can we afford a player who cannot last 90 minutes maybe not but can we see the combination of the others being strong enough over 90 minutes to dispense with him yet? If Casey stays until the end of the season then I think we can let Fulton go given the role Fulton now seems to be employed in.

How old ?
Cheeky , you’re obviously new
Note the “
That means not what you think
Read my other comments and uparrowed them
No player “ hated” , just the way they play

A fine line , true enough

Some posters like a player or manager or not
They can’t stand any thing critical

I liked Martinez , loved him even but some ended up hating him ,As a man .They still do years later

These players mentioned are taking up places others could fill better

It’s relatively easy to differentiate between a username and their comments
Some don’t get this

Have a good life , seriously and remember this could be our last die on earth so make the most of it
Be happy, read a book, play good music , make love , pray or stroke a pussy cat

Think of those who would love to be still around

Now uparrow that
