Can remember crowing about doing 28,000 on a day out in London, and wondering if it was a forum best!

For the record I did 14,462 today, and ate porridge, scrambled eggs on toast, and a quorn curry at various times of the day....

Only 7k steps today. Scrambled eggs on toast for brunch and chicken pasta for tea, with a jam scone mid afternoon.

Declined a 2 course Charlie James pie and mash meal though and watched my daughter eat hers instead along with warm Bakewell tart for dessert.

Breakfast porridge and blueberries. Lunch prosciutto,anchovies, mushrooms, asparagus and poached egg on toast. Tea chicken baked potato and salad.

Just got back from my first, and will be heading out again when mrs spudgun gets home from work in the next hour.

Beautiful day now the early mist across the fields has lifted. A deer walked out 10 yards in front of me on the lane then sprung over a hedge and loped off; took the dogs by surprise.

Anticipating a high collective step count today...

I'll be able to get to the gym 4 times this weeks.

I saw a friend there who was giving the place the once over. He's going to enroll.

I'll be laying off the exercise bikes and cross trainer for a couple of weeks as my knee is aching. I think I'll replace it with the treadmill, the thing that you walk on and it inclines so it's like you're walking uphill.

I've modified my routine a bit: Today's -
14 mins recumbent exercise bike
10 mins abdominal course
4 x 15 reps on the pulley (25kgs)
4 x 15 reps on the triceps (45kgs)
4 x 15 reps on the tractions (55kgs)
10 mins pilates course
4 x 15 reps on the pulley (25kgs)
4 x 15 reps on the triceps (45kgs)
4 x 15 reps on the tractions (55kgs)
14 mins on the treadmill

Smoked trout sandwiches with gherkins on brown bread and omega 3 margarine. Followed by an apple.

I'm going to make a big pan of stew that I only have to heat up in the evening and last all week.

Onions, garlic, tomatoes, courgettes,red peppers, chick peas, and veggie sausages.

I'll accompany it with a choice of wholemeal rice, wholemeal pasta, quinoa, bulgur, or buckwheat.

Nice out there today. Light rain when I went out but it was one of those slightly misty, verdant mornings, more like late September than early April.

We are over 13.5k today so going well so far. Cheese on toast for lunch, followed by a couple of apples.
