I hope the 'other' is a wide player. If anything happens to Bright i feel that we would be lacking much depth there after Shodipo. Callum Harriot is a free agent and he had a lot of promise back at Charlton, would be worth a punt i reckon.
Judge deal off, two signings close and Wheeler and Goss set for exit
Asked whether the signing of Pugh reflects Ipswich's stance on Judge, Warburton said: "Yeah it probably is" before confirming that the deal was pretty much off the table.
QPR duo Sean Goss and David Wheeler are also expected to exit the club.
The midfield pair have not featured in pre-season and asked whether they are likely to move on, Warburton said: "They'll be moving on I think."
Asked whether the deals would be permanent, he added: "It's quite likely, yeah."
"We'll have another striker in by Monday at the latest and one more on top of that then we will be done," Warburton said.
"It's been a major revamp but I think it's been the right thing to do."

Us. We'd sign him back on a free and then loan him out whilst paying his current contract off, giving him another signing on fee and then paying another club to loan him from us.
How come he doesn't figure in this manager's plans either. I thought everyone started with a clean slate. Or do you think Warburton was told he will be sold or released whatever?

Maybe it's what MW has observed in training and something to do with his attitude (refusal to go on loan previously to Yeovil, might be a pointer). Also we are very much about getting value for money and he may think we can get more for less from other players.

No professional footballer is actually crap. Goss has shown that he can play football technically but, it appears, not mentally. He is an aimless object lesson in how not to succeed in football when you have some talent. Maybe too long in academy teams has ruined him for the rigours of league football, who knows.
The grass is always greener.
