OK. In this game you list five famous people that you have met, but one of them is a lie. Whoever is first to spot the imposter gets to share their own list and on we go. I'll start you with :

1. Esther Ranzen
2. John Prescott
3. Ken Livingston
4. Martin Peters
5. Linda Lusardi

Over to you......

To clarify - by `met` does it mean to have been in the presence of, or does conversation have to have taken place?

Tough one. Trying to work out who you wouldn't have met through work.

Martin Peters

Conversation and everything.

Martin Peters is right BBTRR.

We all knew about Lusardi.

Yeah, we did spell.

Apparently the `stalking protection order` put pay to all that shenanigans though.

And she no longer pesters him now....

I'm not sure I've met 5 famous people.

I'll put my thinking cap on.

I'm off out for my daily bike ride and I'll think of 5 celebs who I've had tenuous link to.

I thought Lusardi and Prescott had an affair. (Try getting that image out of your head)

Anyway, here's my 5

1) Seve Ballesteros

2) Charlie Adam

3) David "Bumble" Lloyd

4) Bill Beaumont

5) Chris Hoy

Expect this to be tricky.

Almost went for Seve, but you might just have met him at Royal Lytham.

So Chris Hoy...

Incorrect Spud.

I'll say it's Charlie Adam.

I'm going by the angle of "It's too obvious".

Red and Robbie - Under what circumstances did you meet your celebs? There must be one or two good anecdotes to recount (especially Lusardi).

No idea on this one spell, but I`ve shared a shower with at least one of them.

I`ll go for Thatcher - her security would have wrestled you to the floor before you could have engaged her in `conversation`...

I had a summer job as a barman at the Winter Garden and served Margaret Thatched with a drink during the Conservative Party Conference. I can't remember exactly what she had, something like a tonic watcer or a soda water, a soft drink in any case. Dennis on the other hand ....... hic .....

Just to add that it was the year after the Brighton bombing and as you allude to Spud, security was very tight.

Lusardi came up to Scotland to open one of our shops (in my private sector days). I had to pick her up from the airport and feed her beforehand.

Prescott I saw a lot of at work, he was my SofS for quite a while.

Livingston came to a bash at the Government Office for London and I had to entertain him for a bit. Went to the odd meeting with him when he was Mayor.

Rantzen was at a charitable function.

Now that you mention it, I can recall you telling us that before.

Must be BB then...

I spoke to BB on the phone when I adopted a dog from one of her charities.

You dark horse, spell.

I`m giving upon this one, as I am obviously rubbish at this game.

And well done you for getting a rescue dog.

BB is a saint...

Seve. In 79(?) I was child labour in the kitchens in the Ship & Royal in Lytham. The Open was on that year, and Seve had a meal there. He came into the kitchen afterwards and handed me a £10 tip (sodding fortune at the time), as he said he didn't want to leave it for someone else to give it to me. Stayed and talked for about 5 mins. Really top guy.

Bumble. Function at Lytham Cricket Club. Talked at me for ages at the bar. Again nice bloke.

Bill Beaumont. Many times in The Taps and Takeaways in Lytham. Not a fan.

Chris Hoy. At a function in that there London.

I'm gutted my theory about Prescott and Lusardi seems to be wrong. Was hoping BRR might have had a story about catching them at it, so to speak.
