I've been following this avidly for three months and the thing I take from this is that, four years on, there is STILL something wrong with the way that the Yanks poll their electorate.
I still think Biden might win Pennsylvania, but his margin for error there is very small. Ironically, it is possible that he could win without it, which is something hardly anyone forecast either.
271-268 doesn't look a bad shout, but if Biden somehow pulls Pennsylvania out of the fire it will look a lot less close.
I think the Democrats will need something of an inquest after this, win or lose. Given the state of the nation, they should not have been scrabbling around for a path to victory like this.

Watched a report a few weeks ago about record numbers of first time voters registering to vote, but in mainly republican districts, which they didn't think pollsters were picking up.
However it doesn't explain what's going on in Pennsylvania, even if there's quite a few mail in votes to count, polls are/were miles out there so far. All very strange.

That is last resort stuff though, and as things stand I'm not sure who would want to try to undermine what is beginning to look like a fairly clear win.
Nate Silver seems to think that Trump will win North Carolina but is probably second favourite for all the others. That would give Biden over 300 college votes, I think, if he is right.
There are going to be some legal moves, but none of them are going to be based upon them being able to have a significant impact on the overall result.
It looks like the Republicans will hold on to the Senate. Which means the first two years of a Biden Presidency may be quite frustrating for him if he doesn't get the financial backing he wants for stimulus, New Green Deal etc.
The schadenfreude voyeur in me says this is unfolding perfectly, although I am worried about my popcorn stock level - and the possible effects on the streets of America (but in that order).
As reality knocks on the door of the house of delusion it will be interesting to see how far Trump and his band of enablers will go, and how long before the GOP signal the end of this debacle.
