`The Beiderbecke Trilogy` by Alan Plater starring a host of great actors, the main two being James Bolam and Barbara Flynn.

`Shoestring` was ace at the time...

The Prisoner was ace. The remake was a crime against humanity.

Game On was a favourite of mine.

Yep, `Game On` was good at the time.

`A Very Peculiar Practice` (again starring Barbara Flynn) was a darkly funny programme I liked, but have never seen since...

My cousin was into Follyfoot? The theme music was something about a lightning tree?

Never understood it but she was bigger than me so no Cracker Jack.

Yep, some good ones there, Red.

Callan, Hazell, Shelley and Dear John were all ones I remember as good at the time.

I would add to that `the Persuaders` - a great theme tune as well.

And M.A.S.H...

Not only did I miss Blake's 7 off the list, but also Taxi (Andy Kaufman fan) as well.

It`s funny how programmes bring back memories of times and places that may have faded slightly.

I always watched Starsky and Hutch at my girlfriends house when her parents went out on a Friday night (to the cricket club) and we looked after the little sister. I then got the bus home from Thornton. I would have been 17 ish I guess....

Yep.

I was probably about 8 and Friday was pocket money day. I used to buy dry roasted peanuts and eat them in bed watching starsky etc on my little black and white portable. Happy days indeed.
