Everton attacker Anthony Evans is being lined up for a deadline-day loan move to Blackpool, Football Insider understands.
Evans is highly-regarded at Everton having come through the ranks at Goodison Park and he is under contract until 2020.
A source close to the Merseyside giants has told Football Insider that a number of Football League clubs have made enquiries about Evans’ availability on loan this month.
But north-west outfit Blackpool are very hopeful of luring the attacking midfielder to Bloomfield Road as they close in on a deal before the 11pm transfer cut-off.
The 20-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut for Everton, but he has been a regular for the club’s Under-23 sides in the last couple of seasons.
Evans enjoyed a spell out on loan at League Two Morecambe in the 2016/17 season, scoring two goals and making two assists in his 14 games for the club.

MV is captain of their U-23 team but hasn't played for the senior side, and he was a member of the Notts County side that made the L2 play-offs last season. They've gone backwards since he left, that's for sure.

Liverpool midfielder Matty Virtue could join Blackpool on a permanent deal today, according to a report from Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail.
The 21-year-old has never made a first-team appearance for Liverpool and it looks like he’s about to seal a move to the League One side.
Virtue, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Notts County, joined Liverpool when he was 11 years old after he’d been released by Chelsea.
He’s come through Liverpool’s youth set-up and was named as the captain of the club’s U23 side.
However, despite his rise through the club’s academy, Virtue has not been able to break into Jurgen Klopp’s plans and as such, a move away could be in the best interests of all parties.
At this time, there is no word if Liverpool will be receiving a fee for the midfielder or if he’ll be moving on a free transfer.

This is a good signing for Blackpool, snapping up a talented youngster from Liverpool. Virtue will get regular game time and considering his age, how is the time to go after a starting place in a team and earn your stripes.
And the 21-year-old is doing just that in dropping down to League One to try and make a name for himself rather than playing U23s football week in and week out.

Report: Blackpool ready to offer Liverpool starlet Matty Virtue two-and-a-half year deal
Blackpool are reportedly interested in signing the Liverpool youngster.
According to a report form the Sun (live transfer blog, 11:36), Blackpool are in talks to sign Liverpool starlet Matty Virtue.
The 21-year-old is a deep-lying midfielder by trade, but he can also operate at right-back.
Virtue has scored 12 goals in 51 appearances for Liverpool's developmental side. The Sun claims that Blackpool want the Reds starlet, and are prepared to offer the youngster a two-and-a-half year deal.
The League One club currently sit in eighth spot in the table, and are in desperate need of reinforcements, as they look to make a push for the play-off spots during the second half of the season.
Virtue would undoubtedly be a useful addition to Terry McPhillips' side, especially considering his experience of being involved with a club the size of Liverpool.
One big question mark hanging over the Reds ace's head will be whether or not he is physically ready to cut it in League One, what with its robust nature, but there is only one way to find that out.

It has been reported that Blackpool want to sign the 20-year-old striker on loan on January transfer deadline day for the rest of the season.
Good signing for Blackpool?
Evans has not made a single appearance for the Everton first team in a competitive match, but the 20-year-old is a good and promising young player.
Blackpool are challenging for the League One playoffs, and the 20-year-old will be a good signing for them in the short term.
Evans could also do with a loan spell at Blackpool, where he would get some decent playing time in a competitive environment in a very tough domestic league.
