Modern anesthetics are much better, you recover quickly and feel much less groggy and sick when you wake up.
When I was a kid I used to have a recurring dream about being operated on and waking up in the middle of it.

They ask you a few basic questions before they put you under. Your name and the nature of the operation type questions. It's just to make sure they don't whip out the wrong bits. 
There's a big team of experts in the operating theatre. Everything's triple checked. It's really quite impressive in there - hygiene and modern. It's all top notch and very thorough.
I imagine she's already met the surgeon? It's to be recommended if not, that'll surely put minds at ease. | |

She hasn’t met the surgeon, we will Wednesday morning. It’s at Fullwood private hospital only because the NHS can’t cope. I am super scared but it will be fine. Won’t be posting much Tuesday Wednesday but back with avengence Thursday 👠| |

I'm an expert - they are really, really effective these days. Put you out in no time.
I was mildly disorientated and/or nauseous a couple of times when I came round, but nothing too bad and it soon passes.
They do try hard to put you at your ease as well. | |

I’m just worried she won’t wake up again, but that’s my anxiety and deep down I know that.
