*Obviously it doesn't apply to us anyway. Hinted at by a brilliant tweet from the official account... We've only gone and re-signed Cian Hayes! [Post edited 1 Feb 16:02]

Does anyone know the rules and regs for the NL regarding postponements due to insufficient number of players? Surely we can't be far off... I've found this for the premier league: Squad impact 6. Subject to paragraph 13, below, permission to postpone a League Match will only be considered where the applicant Club has either: a. Fewer than 10 outfield Players and one goalkeeper from those Players listed on its Squad List (‘Squad List Players’), available to participate in the League Match; or b. Fewer than 15 available outfield Contract Players and one goalkeeper who is a Contract Player, available to participate in the League Match. |

Could easily be a contract extension - gif they've shared on twitter says 'Pace' so it's not EEL! Cian Hayes on loan from Fleetwood. One month deal. [Post edited 5 Oct 2023 15:02]

Just been phoned by my Dad who, picking up season tickets, overheard a comment along the lines of "well we've put the bid in, we'll have to wait and see..." - who could it be?? A bid on a classic shirt on ebay??? |
| Forum Thread | Dale World Cup Players at 11:11 7 Jun 2022
Since it's worryingly quiet at the COA, anyone know which Dale/ex-Dale players have made a world cup appearance? I'll count Rhys Norrington-Davies, even if it hasn't actually happened yet... |

Don't know if it's just me but how bad was the planning for the away end last night! You expect to queue but getting in after kick off because we couldn't force our way up the stairs and then, after noticing the entire seating arrangement was in chaos we ended up a block away from where we were supposed to be sat and we had to split our group all over the place, with me sat on my own - at least I got a seat, there were loads perched on the stairs and not even in a seat they'd paid for! How do they cope with Premier League games?? |

5 signings announced at once yesterday, including Hallam Hope, Sam Hart & Harrison McGahey. Not Eoghan O'Connell though is it... |

Been through and worked out contract lengths for the squad*. Provided we go down, surely a lot have to go - but how many would want to stay? Lynch - OOC Wade - 1Y McLaughlin - OOC McNulty - OOC McShane - OOC O'Connell - OOC Dunne - OOC (1Y OPTION) Keohane - OOC Morley - 1Y Ryan - OOC Dooley - OOC Lund - OOC Shaughnessy - 1Y Grant - 2Y Newby - 1Y Done - OOC Bradley - OOC Hopper - OOC Rathbone - 1Y Brierley - 2Y Baah - OOC Humphrys - 1Y Beesley - 2Y Mulvey - OOC Odoh -1Y For what it's worth, I'd offer deals to Lund, O'Connell and Keohane (plus Baah obviously) then Ryan/McLaughlin/McShane (fitness dependent), Dooley/Done (short term). Lynch I'm not sure on, same with Hopper. I think we should take the option on Dunne. *Provided they don't all have new, unannounced deals [Post edited 29 Apr 2021 12:01]

Can't see it mentioned on here but please, if you have twitter, check the Dale account and their quoted tweet/replies about our brace scoring hero. Talk about a language barrier - I think it's bloody hilarious! |

Most famous for allowing Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro to score that belter after about 16 seconds I believe! |

Interview with him in August's FourFourTwo, near the end of which he states we offered him £1000 a week after his trial here but he turned it down because we wanted him to share an apartment with a new team-mate and his girlfriend, to stop him being a twæt... I'm rather happy he did! [Post edited 31 Aug 2020 14:50]

I don't know if it's already been noted, but there's an interesting interview with Wilbraham in FourFourTwo's March edition, which explains the origin of his nickname: Apparently, Stockport County's old Youth Team manager Joe Jakub saw him as an Albatross in human form due to him being 'tall, rangy and a cartwheel of elbows and knees'... So there you go. Any other bizarre nickname origin stories in these weird & football-less times? |

Worst person in the history of the planet, couldn't manage a Sunday league team. Forget that, realistically, we're where we should be, just about comfortably in League 1, he's clearly unable to do anything and should be resigned to a home for morons. Doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't know the club. *obviously very sarcastic, get over yourselves* |
