Least they had a Player of the Year bash!! Wonder how many other clubs didn't have a POTY do this year? I heard at Derby they had 5,000 left from a 30,000 crowd for the 'lap of honour' after they got beat by Reading and slipped out of the play offs. |

.. and before anyone replies one when we get relegated to League Two - seriously - anyone think we'll get out in the next few years? At least the best 3 teams went up from League One this season but it's an irrelevance when we don't currently have a team. |

There is a weird irony in that Preston are better equipped for life in a higher league and we are ill-equipped for life in League One. I hope Karl Oyston feels some shame this evening - but is probably out shooting defenceless creatures. |

With Steve and Allez on this - if any would have been retained it would be a shock - ironically Karl will feel justified in his one year contract with a year's option policy because it's entirely conceivable that we could have been stuck with all these douche bags for another year!
That said our whole way we recruit, contract players and assemble a group of lads like those who got us promoted in 2007 and 2010 needs to change. We need players who are good enough for this league and then the Championship and that will cost money and that's where we come back to the same old problem! |

Am just thinking that Clark went on and on about getting to the end of the season and then having all of these important meetings about the futures of all of his players. Well how long can that of taken! It would have been like when they tell the X Factor contestants they're not through to the final four at judges house!
I have made a decision .. and I'm afraid I can't take you with me (repeat 25 times!)
Wonder how those players all feel now he's fallen on his sword? |

Surely if the answer to the question 'Should Karl Oyston resign' fail to get a 100% answer of Yes then there is something wrong. The man has to be horribly thick skinned to carry on with a unanimous 'No' but I'm sure he will continue to carry on in his own blameless way. |

Must confess I have a soft spot for Boro even though their fans tend to give up quicker than ours but there is some reassurance that if you do get the right chairman in place then things can turn around. |
