Good point PezzaSaint. Burnley are not the side they were last season. The draw with them was not as good as was thought. Like you I am worried. No more so than when finding our attack is made up of Long (who could not hit a cows backside with a banjo) and the immobile and ponderous Austin. It is going to be a long season and my enthusiasm for the new manager is fading fast. I really thought we would beat a Leicester side that has lost its best players. As we know Puel teams are not easy to score against or watch.

PEH cost us a point and the chance of potentially 3.
He did get slapped round the face by Pereira earlier in the 2nd half but of course nobody saw that, or a few other Leicester dives, but we get punished.
Great first half just missing a goal. Wish we could play like that for 90 mins

How on earth we manage to turn complete domination of a match into a rearguard action to keep the oppo out beats me. What goes on in players' heads to lost the plot so easily. Still we won and we deserved to win but why make it so hard on ourselves? Is it that our early pressing and high energy attacking just knackers us? If so then either we are collectively not very fit or we need to play at a apace that we can sustain for 94 minutes.

Some good performances today from Hojberg (MotM), Cedric & Bertie who is really looking like the great player of old and a clubman at last. Big shout out too for McCarthy who got most things right when it mattered. Ings disappointed for most of the time who only partly redeemed himself with a goal. His first touch and passing were woeful in the first half, if he is really not fit and in pain then why play him?

As for Austin... time to hang up the boots Charlie you just ain't fast enough or good enough for this league any more. Bugger me we've got Gabbiadini and we don't use him. Sometimes I think Hughes is as and as a frog with prejudices to match.

A footnote to dear old Nick, great to see Yoshida back on the bench and itching for action, he will keep Vestergaard and Hoedt honest and he doesn't panic half as much as those two hapless souls.

Not too bad! But what is happening with this group of players once they go 1 up, is a bit of a mystery to me. PS. That away kit must be the most hideous thing I've ever seen!

Nice to see the effort today, Lemina had a good game. PEH motm for me, I was happy with the way everyone played today, looked like they cared today. Why did Austin take the penalty only been on the pitch for a couple of minutes, could have made the last half hour more relaxing. You can’t hope to go away and not absorb some amount of pressure from the home team, it’s too be expected Saintbrock

It may have been a good idea to have let Redmond take the penalty. A goal scored would have done him a world of good and more to follow. Dreadful spot-kick from Austin, the game should have been wrapped up instead of a nail biter.
